The next day when I arrived at school, I came thankfully early this time round. Once again I had Mr Cooper, so that means that once again I had to deal with Mason. How perfect. He once again showed up late to the lesson and that damn hickey was still there but now, I could also see a kiss on his neck. What could I honestly expect? I rolled my eyes as he made his way over to my seat and Mr Cooper gave him detention for being late, karma for him, the smirk on his face never left. He came and sat down next to me and once again began to talk.

"Morning, Ms Ash." He said. I gave him a middle finger under the table and his hands came over to mine and folded it. I released my hands from his grip immediately.

"Stop touching me with idiot, who knows where your hands have been."

"Is that...Is that slut shaming I hear? I thought we were just becoming friends Liana." He smiles and I turn my head to the front to avoid staring at him.

"Don't call me that."

"Call you what?"

"Liana. We don't know each other like that ok? I honestly can't any girl would scoop that low and kiss you."

"You are a feisty one, Liana. Sorry, sorry. Julianna. That good? A beautiful name for a beautiful girl."

"Oh gosh please stop with these incredibly sad attempts at 'flirting'. Drop. the. act."

"I never acted with you liana. I wish you'd understand that. I wish you trusted me."

"You lost trust the minute you showed up with that thing. But I don't care. I couldn't care less about you."

"You don't mean that."

"You can't prove anything." He was so right, he did mean something to me which is why him showing up with that broke a bit of me.

"I beg to differ. I can see how annoyed you get whenever you look at me. That is emotion, emotion means you care. Look." He held my hand and grabbed my chin so I was looking into his eyes. The butterflies came again and I could feel myself blushing. Shit. "Told you. I mean something." He smiled.

"Ass!" I exclaimed and it came out a bit louder than expected, well fuck.

"Who said such a grotesque word!" I mouthed a 'fuck you' to mason before removing my hand from his grip and turned my head to the front. I slowly put my hand up but quickly got dragged down by Mason.

"It was me sir, I said 'ass'. I apologise." I stood up after remembering how he'd already grabbed a detention, I may hate the guy but it'd also give too much satisfaction if he 'saved me'.

"I did it sir, he's lying to...to...I actually don't know but it was me who said that absolutely unforgi-"

"SIR! She's lying!" I turned over and saw my sister standing up now. "She's my sister of course she'd do that to protect me, sisters before everything you know. I'm sor-"

"NO it wa-" More and more people stood up making a loud chain of 'it was me's'.

"STOP IT! We're moving on now people come on, sit and back to what I was talking about." Everyone listened as we sat, I mouthed a thank you to my sister for her Oscar worthy performance.

"You're so welcome." Mason said, I punched his leg and let just a mini smile escape onto my face.

"Thanks I guess this does not in any way shape or form say that me and you are 'ok'."

"Were we ever is the question."

"I said that because of you, you're a trouble maker who deserves his left hand cut off."

"Can it be right? My left 'produces' , if you get me, come on now, don't be completely heartless."

"Mason, I hope, truly that both get taken off and aw don't worry I'll film it so that you can watch it whenever you want, how amazing is that?"

"The best, goodness me, you spoil me far far too much, do you know that?" His smile grew as I just breathed in a sigh telling me to calm down.

"How about we enjoy the rest of the class? I'd like that very much."

"Now that's just cruel, I was starting to think that you were really nice."

"You are one big idi-"

"Miss Ash detention." Mr Copper said interrupting me.

"Which one?" Me and Blair said in unison.

"Miss J Ash."

"But sir-"

"No buts. You have been chatting to that boy this entire lesson, not taking any knowledge into your growing mind." Fuck Mason Gray. "And Mr Gray, you shall join her, in fact I have a very special event planned for you both. Here after school, NO LATES." F.U.C.K M.A.S.O.N G.R.A.Y
