12 Grimmauld Place to the untrained muggle eye, didn't exist. but to the order of the phoenix with a tap or a wave of a magical item, revealed itself to the castor. This also happened to be the old home of Sirius who had lent it to the order in the first place. But now it was our home. For about a month it was Just Sirius and I, as second cousins or less complicated title of cousins we had fallen into a routine.

Yet it wasn't to last, those who believe of Voldemort's return saw the signs and the members of the order arrived. The Weasleys were one of them who took up residence others popped in and out. But what stood out more during the holidays was that Dumbledore told us not to write to Harry, forbid it actually. Hermione was eventually brought here and I wasn't the only young girl anymore.

My family, I hadn't spoken to my parents. The last time I saw my brother was the day that I was taken into the protection of the order. He wasn't to come because technically he wasn't at much risk as I still am. Due to him conforming to family values since I could remember and being in Slytherin, the likelihood was that if father had it his way, he would be turned where as I was at high risk of being killed.

"Have you heard?" Hermione asked me as I at a packet droobles

"What?" came my muffled response

"Harry's been expelled for performing magic in front of a muggle. It's completely barbaric." I stood up astonished

"Not even a trial. No this is not happening." I ran downstairs and into the dining room

"Sirius, tell me it's not true." he sighed seeing me

"I'm afraid it is."

"But no trial? They're not even going to ask why he performed magic? are they really that scared they're going to let their fear ruin peoples lives starting with Harry's?" Mrs Weasley put her hands on my shoulder but I shrugged her off

"Vega. Dumbledore, has spoken to the minister." Mr Weasley told me "The expulsion is suspended pending a hearing, we've sent people to get Harry now. You and the others stay upstairs." I stood straighter

"Good." I left in a huff and returned to the Weasleys and Hermione. "Harry's on his way apparently." We waited and a hour later the door opened. I recognised the familiar raven hair

"Harry." I tackled him into a hug which he returned if not a little shock, then pulled away.

"Are you alright?" Hermione asked "We overheard them talking about the Dementor attack. "You must tell us everything." Hermione insisted

"Let the man breathe you two." Ron chided

"Shush." I retorted "And this hearing at the ministry it's outrageous but better than outright suspending you which is what we heard they did."

"I've looked it up. They simply can't expel you. It's completely unfair." Hermione added as Harry came further in to the room that Hermione and I shared.

"Yeah, Theres a lot of that going around at the moment. What is this place?" he wonders

"It's headquarters." Ron answered

"A secret society." Hermione added

"It's home." I smiled "The Order was formed by Dumbledore when the first fought you know who."

"Couldn't have put any of this in a letter, I suppose. I've gone all summer without a scrap of news." the three of us shared a look with each other and the turned back to Harry.

"We wanted to write, mate. Really we did. Only..." Ron began

"Only what?" Harry asked

"Only Dumbledore made us swear not to tell you anything." Hermione blurted out

"Dumbledore said that? But why would he keep me in the dark? Maybe I could help. After all I'm the one who saw Voldemort return, I'm the one who fought him, who saw Cedric Diggory killed." before any of us reply the twins operated in

"Harry."

"Thought we heard your dulcet tones."

"Don't bottle it up, though let it out." the twins back and forth spoke to him then sat down on my bed.

"If you're all done shouting...."

"Do you want to hear something a little more interesting?" we were taken out onto the landing. One of their latest inventions was listening ears. like a phone but literal snapped ears that could extend and listen in on conversations. George lowered down and we started picking up the conversation.

"If anyone has a right to know, it's Harry. If it wasn't for Harry we wouldn't know Voldemort was back. He's not a child, Molly." we heard Sirius speaking

"But he's not a adult either. He's not James, Sirius." Mrs Weasley scolded my cousin

"Well, he's not your son." he retorted

"He's as good as. Who else has he got?" Mrs Weasley wondered as Ginny joined us

"He's got me, both Harry and Vega have me." Sirius brought me into the mix.

"How touchingly paternal, Black." Of course Snape was here, he was as I had learned a double agent. Sometimes showing up for meeting when he could. "Perhaps Potter and Malfoy will grow up to be a fellow, just like the godfather and cousin."

"Snape part of the order?" Harry questioned

"Git" Ron huffed down below I saw crookshanks and Wednesday arrive staring at the extendable ear.

"Wednesday!" I whisper yelled as she and Crookshanks played with it, i then clicked my tough which got her attention and called for her again. Unlike Crookshanks she listened to her human and came running up the stairs. Crookshanks however ate the ear.

"Hermione I hate your cat." Ron huffed

"Bad crookshanks." Hermione sighed as I picked up Wednesday and petted her behind the ear.

"Good listening bubba." I coo and she accepts her reward for not following in the footsteps of her feline friend.
