Aonung pov

My ex came back after being on a trip, am being friends with her again but when she said that she if I miss our relationship I started to think it was a bad idea. My sister ask neteyam if he liked anybody, I hope he says yes

"No"

My heart drop after hearing that. Does he not want me anymore? Is it because of Serra?

"Am going to go now" he said as he got up ready to leave. Is it because of me and her? Does he not like me anymore. "Hey but I didn't go" kiri shouted at neteyam but it didn't seem like he didn't care "it's fine besides your lucky" Rotxo said as both of them were about to leave "we gotta go too, see ya" loak and my sister left

"Soo what do you want to do?" Serra got up "Serra. I don't think that we should be friends. It's not going to work out" I said getting up but looking away from her "fine if that what you want to be" she walked off angry. I didn't care for her,I cared for neteyam. Am going to find him.

He walked away which seem to be heading far away from where we were, I looked everywhere and couldn't find him. Until a spotted someone crying on top of a tree, it was him.

"Neteyam, what are u doing up there" I got closer to him "nothing just leave me alone" he looked the other way trying to avoid eye contact "can we at least talk?" I tried to climb on the trees, dang these are hard

"I don't want to" neteyam was sniffing and trying to make the tears go away "am not going to leave until you tell me what wrong" I finally made it up to the tree "it just that I still think that kissing you was a mistake okay" he said, he was holding back tears "what why would you think that? Kissing you felt like fireworks, am glad that you kissed me" I smiled at him "really you do?" He looked up from me "yeah, neteyam I love you. I just think we're taking it too fast" I said

"Yeah, I think so too" he replied "you wanna do something besides being here" I  asked me "sure let's go" he said as he jump off the tree "yeah um I don't know how to get off" I said hugging the tree "just jump I'll catch you" he open his arms, okay am ready..

I jumped from the tree and right when I thought neteyam was going to catch me.

We both fell down.

"Idiot! I thought you said you were going to catch me!" I said rubbing my head "yeah but your so heavy!" He shouted back.

"Come on let's go" I said walking off as he was catching up from me behind

Neteyam pov

It was night time, aonung told me to sneak out since we can hang out more. I waited patiently for mom and dad to sleep, it took a while but it was worth it, I carefully try not to make a noise as I got out.

I went where aonung told me to meet at. It was cold af, should have brought my blanket, "oh your here" aonung said "yeah of course I am"

"Sit down" he demanded as we sat down "don't you like it when there's no one here. Just peace and quiet, you know the way you like it" he looked at the ocean, admiring it

"Yeah.. sometimes my siblings can be annoying, except tuk, she always listen to anyone" I was trying to make my arms warm by rubbing on it.

"Here use this" he gave me his scarf (ik they don't wear those but go along with it) "what no it's yours you keep it" I shake my head no "here" he put it around my neck "see? Your not shivering that much" he said "thanks but what about you?"

"Nah am fine, as long as am with you" he holds my hand, "fine I'll give it back to you later" I said holding my hands around his "for now just enjoying this moment" he said.

Me and aonung said our goodbyes, I gave him his
scarf back and went to sleep happy
