The next day at school, it was as if nothing happened between Jin and Namjoon during the weekend, and frankly, Jin was beginning to feel as if he was being used. Like he didn't exist to the elder in any way.

"Hey."

Jin turned his head and gasped at the sight of Jackson. "Oh, hi Jackson! what are you doing here?" He said, smiling but still in shock at the other's presence.

"Ah, well, my university wanted to give out these little pamphlets for college applications, after all, you guys are in your senior year so it'll give you some options and time to think. I'm here with a few of my college buddies." Jackson explained, smiling politely.

Jin nodded and took one of the pamphlets in his hand. The university seemed pretty inviting. Old. But comfortable.

"So uh...Jin...I thought maybe you'd like to go to a house party being held Friday night?" Jackson chuckled airily, shyly glancing at the floor before looking back up at Jin who hummed in thought.

A rather high pitched giggle caught Jin's attention, so he looked up to see Namjoon talking to some girl, both laughing at God knows what.

"I'd love to." Jin replied instantly. Jackson nodded, having a bright smile on his face.

The rest of the day went as followed, Namjoon and Jin made no contact, especially not after Namjoon saw Jin and Jackson walking together. There was an unspoken jealousy between the two, and it got worse each passing day, the two avoiding each other to the point of not even sleeping in the same bed.

Soon enough, Friday came about, everyone at school hyped about the party.

The rest of the group wondered what was going on between the two "lovebirds" but didn't intervene when Namjoon flipped them off and Jin wouldn't really talk, just smile and say he's okay.

But deep down, they all knew something was off.

Both Jin and Namjoon got ready for the party, and upon coming out of their respective rooms, they nearly gasped at how good they looked in each other's eyes.

Yet they said nothing and went their own ways.

Namjoon hopped into Hoseok's car, who offered Jin a ride but Namjoon dryly said there was no room. Everyone felt tension, but they left, which was okay, since Jin hitched a ride with Jackson and some of his friends, Mark and Yugyeom.

The house was full of people from high school and university kids. Jin felt rather intimidated as he felt the ground shake from the loud music, but Jackson assured him they'd stay together.

Bodies swayed, lights flashed in all colors and directions, glowstick accessories adorned people's wrists or necks, some held flashing sticks like those you get at concerts. The entire house was filled with laughter and chattering, clinking of beers, smoke clouds polluting the air. Taehyung and Jungkook were standing on the side, arguing about who would get to dance with Jimin while the said boy was already dancing with Taemin, one of the school's heartthrobs. Hoseok and Yoongi were in their own world, making out in the space under the stairs where no one paid any mind to them.

Namjoon stayed drinking off to the side, cup filled with jungle juice, chewing on a sweet gummy bear thar entered his mouth upon drinking the bittersweet liquor in his cup. His eyes narrowed as he saw Jin with a guy he didn't know. He watched as his boyfriend giggled at whatever the ravenette boy was telling him.
