"Hey, Namjoonie. It's been a while, hasn't it?"
Namjoon zoned out. He didn't expect her to come back all of a sudden. When everything was going great.
"Leave."
"I...I came so far to see you! Do you know how much I've missed you?"
Namjoon snapped out of his trance and shook his head, his face going serious. "And do you know I much I suffered when you were gone? Why are you here, Soojin?" He spat.
"Namjoon, don't act like this. It wasn't my fault. My parents forced me to-"
"No! You said you wanted nothing more to do with me. That shit hurt like hell. It's too late. Go now!"
"Joon, please, I'm so sor-"
"What's taking you guys so- uh? Who are you?"
Namjoon sighed. Soojin's eyes narrowed slightly moreso in confusion at the sight of the broad shouldered beauty that appeared next to Namjoon.
"I could ask you the same."
"I'm his boyfriend."
"Ah. I see." She looked at Namjoon with betrayal.
"Then I guess I have nothing more to do here." Soojin turned around and started walking away, her heels clicking on the concrete driveway. Jealousy and rage flashed in her eyes. This wasn't over.
"Care to explain this to me?" Jin said, glaring at the girl's retrieving figure.
Namjoon gently pushed Jin into the house, shutting the door and taking him to the couch. Jin had an annoyed expression written across his usually soft features. He wanted an explanation and understand what the hell had just happened and just who was that girl at their doorstep.
"Her name is Soojin." Namjoon began.
He explained his history with the girl. She was fourteen and he was fifteen, a couple of months before his father met Jin's mother, Namjoon was in a relationship. He told how happy they were together until one day she decided to leave and told him how she didn't love him and never wanted to see him again, leaving him hurt and distraught for the next few months. Tears streamed down his eyes at the memories, but it wasn't that he still loved her, it was just him reliving the pain of when he was unhappy. He figured it was also one of the reasons he was so mean to Jin. His feelings were always there, but at the time he was still hurting, and so he hated Jin instead.
Jin listened and held Namjoon closely. Part of him was jealous, but he knew it wasn't worth it. He had Namjoon now, and it wasn't gonna change.
"It's okay, Joonie. It's all in the past now. You don't have to worry anymore."
"You're right. Hah." Namjoon smiled through his tears, happy he had Jin. His boyfriend was right though. No use dwelling in the past when he's happy now.
"Anyway, go shower, Namtiddie, before the boys get here." Jin joked.
"Oh, you wanna play like that? Fine, I'll go now, Suckjin." Namjoon retorted playfully.
"Consider you actually do, my love." The beauty winked.
Family time?
"Aww, you guys helped set up the table?"
Hoseok, Jungkook, and Taehyung smiled, thinking they've made Jin proud. That was until Jin's smile turned into a scowl.
"You twats! It's all wrong! The spoon goes here and the napkin goes there! It's not rocket science!" Jin scolded, fixing the mistake and then bringing the food.
"Yo, this looks so good!" Hoseok nearly drooled at the sight and smell of Jin's food. Happy about the sprite he was given.
"I wish you'd look at me like that." Yoongi grumbled.
"What?! I do!" Hoseok shrieked.
"No, you're in love with sprite." Yoongi huffed.
"Yoongi." Hoseok said sternly, leaning into the other's ear and whispering. "Don't be a brat, or you won't like what I do to you when we get home, kitten."
Yoongi gulped and muttered. "S-Sorry, Seokie."
"What's this? Is Yoongi being gay?" Taehyung teased.
Yoongi sneered, not really fond of being teased unless its Hoseok. "Shut up, Tae!"
Hoseok glared. "Yah, Yoongi could dom you in a heartbeat, don't look for trouble, Tae."
"You very no fun." The young maknae pouted.
"Can we not do this now? We can never have a normal dinner. I mean how come Jimin doesn't give me any trouble?" Jin huffed.
Jimin smiled as if boasting that he's basically Jin's favorite child.
"Hey guys!"
Everyone turned to look at Namjoon, hair humid meaning he just had a shower. Jin practically drooled at the sight of his boyfriend's buff arms.
"Joonie! You look-"
"Don't finish that sentence Taehyung I swear." Jin threatened, not tearing his sight from the tall behemoth of a man.
"I think you have something on your chin, dear." Namjoon teased, taking a seat next to Jin which was reserved specifically for him.
Jin averted his eyes, blushing from embarrassment. Namjoon began to serve himself some of Jin's delectable food, the rest following.
Dinner was going well for the boys, that was until Taehyung suddenly excused himself.
"Where are you going?" Jimin spoke up, a piece of seaweed on the corner of his lip. Taehyung leaned over his cute boyfriend and licked off the piece before answering, looking at Namjoon. "Auntie Mirae wants me to run some errands for her. Minji isn't home to do them and neither is uncle Yeol."
"Ah, okay." Namjoon nodded, the rest understanding.
"Be careful hyung." Jungkook commented.
"Tell auntie Mirae I said hi." Jimin spoke up after.
"I will, babe." Taehyung kissed both of them goodbye then bid goodbye to the rest.
Taehyung walked down the sidewalk and made his way to the grocery store where he looked through the his messages that listed the items to buy as per request by his mom. On his way inside, however, he ended up crashing into someone, making the person drop their bags and gasp as the items spilled out.
"Oh my god! I'm so sorry!" A female voice came from in front of him, making his gaze lift up to the female with a shocked look on her face.
"It's okay. It was my fault for not looking. Here, I'll help you." Taehyung offered.
"Thank you." The girl smiled politely and began picking up the rather large quantity of bags and dropped items, making sure they were okay, Taehyung helping her by doing the same.
She led him towards her car, opening the trunk and fixing the groceries in them.
"So, what's your name?" Taehyung asked.
The girl hesitated for a moment but then responded. "Jisoo. Kang Jisoo."
Taehyung nodded and smiled. "Kim Taehyung."
