The Responsibility

Ability comes with responsibility,
But where is my ability
From? Inside of me?
Who do I owe responsibility?
A deity?
Where's the liberty?
Maybe,
The ability
Inside of me
Is a gift from the deity,
Who exclusively
Extends it to me.
The responsibility
Is to use it wisely.
Not in captivity,
But generosity,
Charity.
To help men and ladies
Overcome difficulty.
Not to serve me
And live lavishly,
But ambition righteously,
Selflessly.
I owe my family
The best of me.
Not a leftover treat,
But love, completely.
If I'm the center of gravity,
Then I'd build a monarchy.
I'd be lonely,
Resting on a gold heap,
While others weep
Because of me,
And that's not who I want to be.
