"...can't buy me a time machine."

Mike knocked on the door of the Eleven's house. Hopper and El had moved out of the Byers's house to give Joyce and Jonathan some space to grieve after Will's horrific passing.

"Please, please." He whispered.

The door opened to reveal Robby.

Mike made a repulsed face as if he had bitten into something rotten. To him, Robby sure was rotten.

"What are you doing here?" Mike questioned, looking Robby up and down.

"What are you doing here?" Robby retorted.

"I'm here for El." Mike answered.

"Eleven doesn't want to see you." Robby replied.

"Oh really? I'd like to ask her myself." Mike folded his arms.

"Why? You don't trust me?" Robby raised his eyebrows.

"I have no reason to. You've done nothing but betray Will and I." Mike shrugged.

Robby scoffed. "Please. You know you deserved it. Will...Will didn't deserve that, but you? I can't say the same."

Mike got in Robby's face. "Listen here you piece of shit—."

"Mike."

Mike looked over to see Will standing next to him.

"Don't. Be civil. You want to talk to El and that's it." Will said.

"Are you serious right now? You disappear for days and now that I'm here and Robby's here you decide to show up." Mike replied.

"What?" Robby furrowed his eyebrows.

Mike looked over to the dark haired boy.

"Shut up!"

"Mike."

Mike huffed. "Will's here."

"Oh. Hi, Will." Robby greeted.

Will half-smiled. "Hi, Robby."

Mike made a face and Will raised his eyebrows.

"He says hi." Mike sighed.

Robby half-smiled.

"Do you really wanna talk to El?" Robby raised his eyebrows.

"Yeah. I do. I—."

"Who wants to talk to me?" A voice asked.

Robby opened the door wider to reveal El.

El turned up her nose when she saw Mike.

"Hey, El."

She didn't reply.

"Hi, El."

El looked over and her face softened.

"Hi, Will."

"I really think you should talk to him." Will said.

El folded her arms. "And why's that?"

"Because he needs you."

"And what about what I need?" El raised her eyebrows.

Will sighed. "El. You need him too. You know you do. He's your best friend. There's no one you need more than that black-haired boy who took you in on that stormy night. He cares about you so goddamn much, Eleven."

El swallowed. "Fine. Come in."

"Seriously?" Robby furrowed his eyebrows.

"Shut up, Robby." Mike retorted.
