[So. Hi. It's been... a while...

I'm gonna be honest, the only reason I even updated was because my irl bestie Mayhelton444 on wattpad saw how many reads I had and how long I've neglected everything and put her foot down. Thanks girl I love you!!

In my defense, I had actual literal college classes, not even dual credit lol. Perks of being a homeschooler ig. Anyways, a lot's happened but I'm gonna just sum it up. I'm doing a lot better mentally so that's good, college classes, and other fandoms. Don't worry though, Undertale is a disease which has no cure so even if I take a while, I'll come back. I will update my other two fics as well at some point but I can't say when. I would however like to apologize to everyone I told back in May that I would update. Like a fool, I planned to do it the weekend of my birthday which, obviously, didn't go to plan lol.

I can't say when the next update will be but I do promise I will finish this. I will be replying to all the comments I also ignored (I'm genuinely so sorry. They mean the world to me but I just could bring myself to reply when I was avoiding this because I felt guilty lol.)

Anyways. Enjoy!!]

Blue stared at the place Dream's portal had just been. What was he supposed to do now? He had tried so hard to stay calm but he got nervous and panicked once he actually got there and now Dream was running away.

This had gone from bad to worse.

And it was all Blue's fault.

He sighed. He might as well get back to everyone else and figure out what to do instead of just standing there feeling bad. He opened a portal with one of the devices made by Sci for all who weren't able to open one themselves.

He was met with tense stares from everyone in the room. He felt the knot in his stomach tighten. He really hated to let people down. He shook his head sadly and everyone let out a collective disappointed sigh.

Nightmare gave him a small smile. "It's alright Blue, you did your best."

Blue felt a little better knowing that one of his best friends didn't hate him now, though logically he knew that Nightmare would never hate him over something like this.

"HE RAN OFF INTO A RANDOM AU," Blue sighed once again. "WHO KNOWS WHERE HE IS NOW? AND HE'LL PROBABLY RUN AGAIN IF HE SEES ANY OF US AS WELL."

As everyone contemplated the solution to this problem, an idea came to Dust. He always was one of the smartest, he figured smugly, before pushing that feeling down. Being smug was Killer's thing.

"We'll just use our allies to lure him somewhere. He likes helping people, doesn't he? Just have them ask for help and keep him distracted." It became a lot harder to push down the smug feeling when he saw the others' faces light up but he managed.

"DUST!! YOU'RE A GENIUS!" Blue exclaimed. "TRULY A WORTHY FRIEND OF THE MAGNIFICENT BLUE."

Dust smiled. "Heh. Thanks, Blue." He gave up on being humble. He could indulge himself this time even if he got a knowing smirk from Nightmare.

"Alright, let's go over who would be most likely to ask for Dream's help and who Dream would be the least suspicious of," Nightmare commanded. They had to be smart about this with how paranoid Dream was at the moment. He was going to help his brother whether he wanted it or not.

*Dream*

Dream smiled as the child he helped stopped crying. It may be his job, but he always felt so good spreading positivity.

His phone pinged not once, but 5 separate times in a row. The child's happiness now forgotten, Dream pulled his phone out with apprehension. To his relief, it wasn't Blue. To his surprise, it was five separate people all asking for help.
