I stayed planted outside my door for what seemed like hours just replaying the entire interaction between me, and König over and over in my head. Eventually, I got tired of standing there, and retreated into my room, locking my door behind me. Still somewhat dazed, I began to strip free of my clothes. I paused the moment my hands touched my jacket, well, his jacket to be exact. 'He forgot to take his jacket back. It's been an entire day. Does he just not need it? Maybe he was too scared to ask for it back...?' I wondered.

'Well, I mean I was hogging it too-' I shook my head to rid it of my thoughts. 'I'm done thinking about him, about anything. I did enough of that while I was standing outside my door'. Sighing, I slowly peeled off his humongous jacket and placed it onto the back of my rocking chair. 'It still smells like pine....' I audibly groaned and slapped both sides of my face in a desperate attempt to get my thoughts to stop racing.

It seemed to work as my mind went silent for a good while. Taking advantage of this, I finished taking off the rest of my clothes, and made my way to my bathroom. I washed my face, and honestly debated on whether or not I should take an actual shower. Normally, this wouldn't have been a matter in need of questioning, but since Laswell issued that 2-month break, I just find myself sitting in my office all day, and rarely going outside. Today was a different though, I did go outside and I layed in dirt too. I sighed in defeat, drying off my face before turning on the water for my shower. After a while of seeing the steam, I hopped in.

3rd Person POV:

König stood just out of sight of the hallway. He didn't know what else to do. He hadn't heard her door close, and was starting to get worried. 'What if someone had pushed their way in...?' He stood there for a moment, going back and forth with himself. He let out a low groan and shook his head. Against his better judgment, he tilted his head a bit to look past the wall.

His heart nearly fell out of him right then and there as he threw himself back behind it. She hadn't gotten into any sort of trouble. Instead, she was just standing outside her door looking, almost dazed, in his direction. Even if she hadn't seen him, it was enough of a scare to send him bolting down those stairs. Collapsing over on his knees, he had to compose himself once he made it to ground level as she had given him quite the scare, even if it wasn't intentional. Once he was relaxed enough, he picked himself up and started to make his way back to his room; chuckling to himself as he played back the events that had just occurred only a few minutes prior. Whenever he remembered the face she had made when he called her his darling, it never failed to make him crack a concealed, but toothy smile.
