Chapter Eleven - Mess

"There are times that the only thing that can make you happy only happens in your dreams but can't be
done in reality"....

"That's it . I've had enough of your mopping around,get your ass out of your room or be ready to bear the consequences of it."Anna keep yelling at me from outside my room.

"Elizabeth Rowell..NOW..."

She keep yelling at me but my willpower is not taking side today.It's all because of that damn Zack Bently.Who asks him to come into my life in the first place.
He entered my life uninvited ,make a mess out of it and leave me to bear the pain.
It's been five days since that night , but the hurt is just the same.

"LIZA...."
Ouch..there goes my ears.Well it looks like I've to go out or that poor door is going to pay for it.
I sigh standing up from my bed. After taking a deep breath I slowly open my door.
As soon as I open it two arms locked me in their embrace.
"Liz, do you know how worried I was about you." Anna said pulling away from me.

"Sorry for avoiding you , Anna.I just .."

"It's okey I understand though if you didn't came out today you were seriously in big trouble."

"I know ..that's why I did." I said laughing.
"Thank god...you're okey."
The worry was clear on her face. I shouldn't have done that.She don't deserve it.

"I'm really sorry..."

"Stop saying sorry and tell me why are you looking like someone just killed your puppy."

Should I tell her...she have enough on her plate,but she's my best friend and I really need to talk or this tear sessions is not going to stop anytime soon.

"Is it about Zack Bently."Anna asked me.
That did the trick...tears started flowing again.How can that man effect me this much in such shorter time is beyond me.

After I finish at least half of the ice cream my sobbing slows down.
"You okey ,now".Anna was still worried."if you don't want you don't have to talk,Liz.."

"No,I want to."and that's what I did. I tell her everything about that night.
Surprisingly, after talking I really feel good.

"Liz,I warn you earlier..he's not the commitment type."

"I should've listened to you,Anna. "

"Move on from him...it will be the right thing to do".

"You think I don't know that.That's what I've been trying to do but it's not working.He just won't leave my mind. I shouldn't even like him but without him it feels like a large part of me is missing."
I tell her in a breath cause I know once I stop,I won't be able to say this again.
She just keep looking at me weirdly.

"You love him" She wishpered.
"WHAT! No no no..it's not possible."I scream at her but even then I knew I was lying.Maybe I still wasn't in love with him but I know I'm alnost there.That arrogant man has somehow make me fall for him and now I don't know what to do.

"Liz,I can't advice you on this , you've to figure it in your own."

"No, Anna it's impossible. Our worlds are different.. It just can't happen."

"Forget about your differences , just answer my one question and promise me you'll be honest."

I nod my head in confirmation.

"Do you want a life which includes him or your old one without him."
That one question is enough to change my thoughts.

I tried to imagine my old life,safe and predictable,where there is no place for an arrogant man who constantly mess with my emotions.

Surprisingly ,it doesn't held anymore intersts to me.
Maybe I'm crazy but I still want a life with him in it even if that means getting hurt,but it is what I want.

"I think you know the answer, Liz.." Anna looks at me with a smile.

"Yes,I do know."I've to take this risk.I've to talk to him just for one time.If even after that he don't want anything to do with me than I'll move on.
Even that thought is painful.But I've to try.Just this once,I'm going to take a risk.
"I know what I want ,Anna."I hug her."Thank you for making me realizing it."

"Dude,what are best friends for."

"Anna,you're...."

"I know..I know.I'm the best."
I throw my head back in laughter. She soon joined me.It really feels good to be like this.

"I still need a favour from you"I tell her.

"Anything for you bestie."

"Can you give me the adress of Bently enterprises."

"Of course.It's one of the biggest corporation in the city.I will give it to you in the morning."

"Thank you..you don't know how much that means to me."

"Stop saying thank you...."she said standing up from the couch .

"Good nigh you'll be okey right.."she tells me before going.

"Don't worry ,Good night"

She stops before entering her room.
"Liz ,are you sure about it"

"I've never been more sure about anything in my whole life."

Her smile return again.
"Okey then good night,sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite."

"Umm Anna,I don't think my bed has any bugs."

"Shut up and go to sleep."After that she was gone.

I don't know what is going to happen tomorrow.But one thing is for sure , I'm so not giving up without a fight.

That Zack Bently has some answer to give me.It's all or nothing.

I tried to imagine the surprise on his face.
Hehehe..I tried to do my evil laugh.
Ughh...I really have to practice on that one.
