It was your day-off when one day, Dino decided to invite himself inside of your home with a box of confectionaries in his hand. You, who couldn't deny his gesture (and the sweets he brought for you), decided to let him in as Dino smiled in response and looked around your apartment.
It has been a few months since the two of you had seen each other; Dino was quite busy with some matters about his famiglia, and you, a civilian with a proper and legal job, was also busy with some work that you needed to overwork at the time. It was a good thing that your boss gave you a short break for a few days after that, so with you having a vacation and for some reason Dino got to know about it without you telling him, resulted in the said man dropping in all of a sudden on the front of your door without any warning.
You didn't really mind though, but it does make you wonder how he even knew anyways.
"Still looking comfy as ever." Dino commented when he saw your bean bag near the sofa, laid in front of the small bookshelf that you have near it with a few, closed books scattered on the floor.
Dino walked over the said bean bag and bent over to reach the books that you were reading, picked them up, and put them back where they belong. You didn't seem to notice the gesture since he heard your footsteps disappear and when he looked back in your direction, he saw your figure disappear into the kitchen.
Afterwards, he heard your voice being raised for a little bit. "Dino, what would you like?"
The said man let out a huff, "A cup of coffee would be fine!" he replied in a similar manner before taking a seat on your sofa, hearing you let out an Okay! and then heard the coffee machine being turned on.
Dino then shifted his attention away from the kitchen entrance and looked at the room around him. Everything around him screamed of you; From how the furniture were placed neatly, or how the chosen decorations were simple and cute at the same time – with some touch of your personal preferences like the accent color that goes well with the furniture that you have chosen to fill in the living room. This is a scene that he's very familiar with – Dino has been here countless times, and you would always tell him to take a seat somewhere he'd like to. The two of you have known each other for a long time, and he would visit you in Japan whenever he has the chance.
You were a good friend of his, and helped him ever since Tsuna has introduced the two of you to each other. You weren't expecting the latter to have such a figure as his "older brother" since you've known Tsuna ever since he was a child, always taking care of him whenever Nana needed some help at the time. A moment has passed and your footsteps have started to fill the room once again. It was enough for Dino to bring his attention back to the kitchen's doorway and look at you with a tray on your grasp.
You haven't reached him yet when you stopped on your tracks, "It isn't that cold outside today, right?" you said, giving a small smile to Dino and watched him nod, "Then would you like to hang out for a little bit on my balcony?"
"Yeah, sure." Dino said and stood up, then walked towards your direction and his hands lifted up to take the tray away from your hold as you felt it brushing against yours – a small dust of blush was present on your face, although unnoticeable since you were looking down to watch Dino's actions and the gesture was enough to give the tray to him, while ignoring the loud noise on your chest.
You looked up back to Dino and saw that he returned the gesture by giving you a small smile as well. He then started to walk towards your balcony with a tray of beverages in his hands. You've been observing his actions for a while now, and the fact that Dino has stopped being clumsy around you a few months ago, you started to wonder why. Did he have his men around the house to make sure that he could still function properly like a normal human being? or that he got past that and has no need for his men around him?
