There's a little bit of cursing in this, that's the only warning :)

Wednesday was working on a school project with Xavier Thorpe, much to her annoyance. She didn't get along with everyone but it was irritating working with someone who was constantly trying to flirt when she had absolutely no interest.

Was Xavier really that oblivious? No, he was just absurdly and stupidly stubborn and determined to win her over.

The second day they were working on their project the long haired boy suggested going to Weathervane. Wednesday didn't think much of it and agreed until she stepped in and immediately felt someone's gaze on them.

She looked up to see Tyler, watching with judging eyes as she and Xavier sat down at a booth. Xavier sat across from her fortunately as she sat on the side where she could see the golden haired coffee boy.

"What do you want?" She asked Xavier. She wanted to order so she could explain the situation to Tyler.

Xavier gave her his annoying, slightly flirtatious smile as he shook his head, "I'll order."

She didn't want to let him but she knew there was no point in arguing with him, he was too stubborn. She wouldn't be able to convince him not to.

So she watched as Xavier went up to the counter and Tyler's mood immediately darkened.

"What can I get you?" Tyler simply asked Xavier, treating him like he would any other customer. Keeping it professional, despite the anger that burned in his chest at the mere sight of him, especially with Wednesday.

"I'll have a black coffee and a-"

The boy didn't let him finish, "Quad for Wednesday?"

Xavier scowled a little as Tyler rolled his eyes, "you do know she comes here a lot and always gets the same thing, right?"

"Yeah I know," Xavier responded through gritted teeth.

Tyler nodded, resisting the urge to roll his eyes again or scoff before telling him the total.

As Xavier paid he couldn't help but to ask, "what are you doing here with her?" It wasn't really his business but it bugged him.

Xavier smirked, "we're on a date." It wasn't true but Xavier liked to consider it one and he wanted to get a reaction from Tyler, to provoke him.

Tyler couldn't help but to scoff a little. While he felt the jealousy burning more in his heart, he couldn't help but doubt that they were on a date. He was pretty confident Wednesday wasn't interested in Xavier that way but what did he know for sure?

Xavier's expression darkened finally, "Do you not believe me?"

"Not really, no," Tyler said back honestly as he printed out the receipt and handed it to him.

Xavier snatched it harshly as he replied before walking away and returning to the booth, "I'll have you know that I asked her out recently and she said yes. You don't have a chance with her." It was such a lie but he wanted to retaliate and wanted Tyler to think that he couldn't have Wednesday.
