Turns out he wasn't joking.

At about 8:30, Noah checked his watch and stretched. "Kie, you wanna come with me?" He asked.

"Uhh I'm not sure," I hesitated.

"I think you deserve the break," He smiled.

"Yeah fuck it, lemme change," I said.

I did have a few edgy-ish clothes.
I mean, ripped black baggy jeans and a small graphic tee was as close as I could get.

I put on my doc martins that my dad got me during my 3 month long emo era, and let my hair down, looking into the mirror, not loving what I saw. I saw my arms hang down my sides loosely and starred at the gap between the bottom of my top and the buttons of my jeans, tilting my head.

"Kie!," Noah called, and I snapped out of my head, following his sound.

He grinned, "I'm gonna drink, we'll take a cab?" He asked,

"Yeah sure," I smiled.

It took about 10 minutes to get a cab, but once we did, the drive there was kind of cute. There wasn't much traffic and we listened to music the entire way. I did get kind of sleepy, but that went away once we got there.

"Hey, look at you," Dylan smiled, once we got there and found the others.

I wasn't usually dressed that way, and I'm sure it was noticeable. I couldn't help but chuckle a little.

"C'mere," he said.

I walked towards him, and he pulled out a bandana from his pocket, tying it around my head.

"It goes with the fit," He winked.

Cole looked at me with narrow eyes, and then at Noah. "Dylan," He said, his voice low, his eyes still on mine.

"Yeah I know," Dylan replied without hesitation.

"I feel kinda dizzy," Bella said.

"I wonder why," April laughed. She'd apparently drank a whole lot of rum and coke.

"Ape, can you deal with Bella," Dylan said, putting a lighter and some keys on the plastic table near us.

"Yeah I got her," April smiled, locking her hand with Bella's.

"Kiara, come with me? I need help bringing out some boxes of ice," Dylan said.

"Alright," I smiled.

I followed Dylan as he walked passed a bunch of people towards an area with more trees and less crowd.

He clicked his keys, unlocking the door, and I followed him there as he pulled out two large cooling boxes.

"I need your lipgloss," Bella said to me, looking into her tiny mirror that came along with the free Sephora stetting powder.

"I gotchu," I smiled, handing over my clear lipgloss.

Noah placed a ciregerette between his lips and held in place, lighting it with a dazzling pink flame.

We were waiting at the track for Cole, Dylan and April who were talking to April's dad about something.

Moments later, they walked towards us laughing about something, and the six of us headed towards the underground club, 'Zion underground Brooklyn 45.'

I followed the rest of them as we walked down a flight of stairs into a room lit purple. The large, scary looking bouncers looked at me for a little longer than I'd expected but didn't question me as I walked in with the rest of the group.
