After Y/n saw the reveal of Pyra/Mythra for Smash, he was overjoyed. However, right before the day of release, he died. Now he's exploring this new world with the powers of the Aegis.
We see Pyrrha fighting the members of Team CRDL. They keep trying to attack her, but she manages to fend them off with Grace and elegance. After a few more minutes of trying to beat her, Pyrrha gets in one final hit, winning her match.
Glynda: And that's the match.
Cardin: Lucky shot.
Cardin then instantly collapses, and Y/n simply smirks at this.
Y/n: Nice.
Glynda: Well done, Miss Nikos. You should have no problem qualifying for the tournament.
Pyrrha: Thank you, professor.
Gylnda: Alright, now I know that's a tough act to follow, but we have time for one more sparring match. Any volunteers?
Gylnda does look around, and notices Blake reading a book.
Glynda: Ms. Belladonna? You've been rather docile for the past few classes. Why don't you-
???: I'll do it.
Y/n then looks over and notices a silver haired boy raising his hand.

Glynda: Mercury, is it? Very well, let's find you an opponent.
Mercury: Actually, I wanna fight... HER!!
Mercury points to Y/n, shocking even him.
Y/n: M-Me...? Are you sure...?
Mercury: I heard some things about you. I wanna see you've got.
Glynda: Is that alright with you, Y/n?
Y/n: Well... I guess if he really wants to... I'll accept.
Y/n then gets changed into his combat attire, and brings out his sword as Mecury struts into the arena.

Mercury simply scoffs as Y/n and gets into a fighting stance.
Y/n: So he's a melee fighter. I think my best option is going to be to keep my distance far away from him. Let's hope this works.
