When Raven opened her eyes, she stared off into the distance, watching the clouds drift above the light blue sky...

She was lying on something soft... and she could tell by the little grains pressing to her skin, that she was lying on piles of warm sand.

And distantly, she could hear a crashing of waves...

"Raven," a soft voice murmured.

She turned her head to the side, seeing a dark silhouette form in front of the afternoon sun.

"You awake?" they said.

It was a man... someone that sounded oddly familiar.

She nodded, staring at him curiously.

He kneeled by her side, a smile spreading across his concealed face. "Don't scream, alright?"
