i got to mitchs house with him around 2am.

i knew maggie would still be asleep, so i slipped in bed with her.

i carefully inched towards her, and wrapped my arms around her.

"auston?" she asked, grabbing my arm

"got back to sleep baby."

she laced her fingers through mine, "thanks for coming back, this bed gets too cold without you here."

im 5 seconds away from packing her things for her and moving her & the girls to my house.

or maybe ill move in here, im basically here everyday, even before maggie moved here, i was here a lot but now i go home & sleep, wake up, go see maggie, take a nap, go home & sleep, then do it all again the next day.

"i watched you last night."

"i thought about you last night." i chuckled.

she turned around to face me, "you played good."

"when do i not?"

"cocky." she laughed.

she quickly kissed my cheek, "how are the girls feeling?"

"they're getting better." she said.

"can i take you on a date again?" i asked.

"it would be an honor." she giggled. "okay, now lets go to sleep."

-

maggie and i woke up to the girls crying, "you go back to sleep."

i got up and followed her anyway.

she picked up mattie & i picked up adley, holding her waiting for maggie to finish changing matties diaper before switching babies.

"good morning miss mattie."

"ma-ma." she sounded.

"i am not your mama." i said, making maggie laugh.

maggie picked adley back up walked over to us, "say aus, uncle aus."

"ma-ma."

"no, aus." maggie laughed

mattie shook her head, "words are hard, aren't they? lets go play."

we walked out to the living room and put the girls in their over sized playpen, and maggie & i sat on the couch watching tv.

maggie laid her head on my shoulder, it was a rainy day here in toronto.

"i could sit like this all day." i said, wrapping my arm around her.

she looked out the floor to ceiling windows into the backyard, "i love rainy days."

she laid her head in my lap & gazed up at me.

"who you play tomorrow?"

"nashville at home."

"so youll come over after?" she asked

"or you could come over?"

"i could, but all the girls stuff is here." she said.

"so what im hearing in, i need to get baby things for my house."

"no, theres no need in that." she shook her head.

"oh theres lots of need in it. i have the room, i can make a nursery & baby proof the house."

"you can just come over here auston." she said.

"you're so stubborn." i laughed.

"yeah, but you wont take no for an answer so i know that youll be purchasing everything that you think we'll need."

"we'll, i like that."

she jokingly pushed me away. "i needed you in my life a year ago auston, you make life worth living."

"were just getting started baby."

she reached up and touched my face, "sorry, i just have to make sure you're real."

"i love you, and i know that you dont think so but i do." i smiled.

she smiled as one of the girls started crying, "mattie adele, way to ruin the moment." she joked

she got up and picked the girls up, "you're hungry huh?"

i took adley from her, "my favorite marner."

"woah." maggie laughed.

"she has no clue what i just said."

"but i do." she fake cried.

"oh stop it." i laughed

"lets get you guys some breakfast." she smiled

we put them in their high chairs while maggie opened their food, i fed adley & maggie fed mattie.

"what are your plans for the day?" she asked.

"practice & film at 10."

"oh."

"why? did you have something you wanted to do?" she asked.

"will you be back for nap time?"

"if im in town & free during nap time, ill be in your bed."

"stop." she giggled.

"im not joking." i said.

"i know you're not but still."

"is it too soon?" she asked.

"too soon for what? too soon for you to be my girlfriend?" he asked

"is it too soon for us to date?" she asked.

"no. definitely not." i smiled, leaning into kiss her.
