in the a.m.

family skate

the boys got home yesterday and slept from the evening to this morning.

"auston, baby wake up." i said.

"morning babe."

i sat on my bed by him.

"its time to get up and get movin, breakfast is ready for ya."

he groaned and pulled me down to him, "i have a better idea that involves a shower."

"i have an even better idea, lets not get me pregnant." i laughed.

i stood up and wacked him with a pillow, "get up."

i left the room and walked into the kitchen where steph & mitch sat at the table next to the girls in their high chairs.

we started eating because auston was taking too long to get up.

"mattie, stop throwing your food or at least aim for mitch." i said.

"adley, throw your sippy cup at mommy." mitch pointed.

"mattie, bite his ankles next chance you get." i cheered.

"hey auston." steph said, ignoring mitch & i.

"good morning."

we ate breakfast before getting ready.

i got the girls dressed first in a light pink sweatshirts with their names on it, with white knitted leggings, ugg boots & a pompom beanie on.

"oh my goodness." auston said, walking in their room, "you two are so cute."

the twins smiled at him, "look at the shoes!"

"you are too precious adley taylour!" he said, picking her up and hugging her. "you too mattie adele!"

he picked them both up.

"will you watch them while i get dressed?" i asked, seeing that he was ready.

"yeah."

i got up and went to my room.

i put on the matching sweatshirt that says mama, black leggings & my ugg boots.

"okay im ready!"

"i put the girls snacks in austons car, we'll meet you guys there." steph said.

"thanks babe, your the best!" i said back, carrying mattie out the door.

"babe?" auston questioned & i laughed

we loaded up the car and headed to the arena.

auston rested his hand on my thigh on the way to the arena, i played with this bracelet, "are you nervous?"

"yeah, are you nervous?" i asked.

"relax everythings fine." turning into the parking lot of the arena.

"no auston, i dont feel like everythings fine. i want to go home."

he parked the car, "talk to me."

"i did and i said that i want to go home, auston." i cried.

"give me some reasons why, please."

"i dont belong here and no one here knows me. what if the girls act up and cry? no auston, please take me home and you can come back. please baby, i wont be mad." i said, turning to face him

"why would you say that you dont belong here?"

"because its family skate & were dating auston." i said.

he wiped my tears, "i promise you you're not the only girlfriend here."

"i bet im the only one with 2 kids!" i urged.
