Irritable was one word Levi would use to describe you. A few more would be nuisance, tiring, infuriating, inconvenient, difficult, any synonym for the word "annoying" could work. Yes somehow, another word he would use to describe you was enchanting, or captivating.

Despite your behavior, some part of him felt as though he wanted to be near you.

Ever since you joined with the 102nd and was picked for his special operations squad, it had been that way. Your behavior to each other was sour for the first few days, however the actual aggression slowly morphed into playful bickering.

You knew you had feelings for him, but with your consistent nagging, you knew they wouldn't be returned.

Once realizing, you hadn't been too broken, he opened up to you within the first few years of your friendship, and you had known love was a difficult thing for him to conjure.

You aggressively knocked on his door. "I have your paperwork, Cap."

Without a response, you walked in, kicking in the door closed, scuffing it in the process. He deadpanned at you and said "Wipe that scuff mark off."

"With pleasure, sir."

You walked over to his desk and threw the stack of papers on it, messing up the pile of papers he had already stacked for himself. "And clean that up too, restack these."

"I can't clean two things at once Cap, which one do you want me to do?" You snarled at him, throwing the rag you had picked up back into its bucket.

"I told you to stop calling me that, it's disrespectful." he growled.

"So I'm guessing you want me to do neither?, that's fine by me! Toodles!" You tried to leave but he instead shouted your name.

"F/n. Clean both of these things up, and with that clean my whole office. I'll be watching." snarled Levi.

Although tempted to run away, you grabbed the rag and wiped off the mark on the door. You hadn't a clue why you were willing to do these things. In what world would you have willingly cleaned his office. Had you wanted to... just be near him?

"Y'know Cap, whenever I'm in trouble you always make me clean your office, you can make me clean quite literally anything," You dragged out slowly " the stables... the mess hall... the main quarters... if I didn't know better I would have thought you actually like having my annoying ass around."

"That's idiodic, as are you." He retorted, covering up his lies. He grabbed a sheet from your stack of paperwork and said "What does this even say? During the... and the... titans were... did you even try to write?"

"Are you sure you grabbed it from the right pile? It could be yours, your handwriting is almost as shitty as Hange's."

"Don't even." He snapped, picking up a pen and starting to write on a blank paper.

"Don't tell me... you're fixing my paperwork!" You shouted, cackling hysterically.

"I couldn't hand this up to Erwin!" He waved the paper in the air in front for emphasis. "It looks like it had been filled out by an animal."

"Ugh. You're so nitpicky." You dragged out, putting more on a whine into nitpicky, again for emphasis.

"Has anyone ever told you how annoying you are?" he retorted, as if a taunt.

"Yes, several times but that's not the problem."

You waited for a moment, waiting for the response "You're right." one more moment. "It's your piss-poor handwriting and paperwork." You called it.

You sat down in the chair across from him, but quickly promoted yourself to sitting on his desk "Who told you you could sit down?"

With a scoff, you retorted "My legs, they were stubborn so I gave them this compromise."

"Is everything a joke to you?" was his response.

"I don't have the time, nor colorful markers, to explain it to you. Even if I tried to explain it, I can't understand it for you, but yes." He rolled his eyes exasperatingly, you chuckled and continued "Keep rolling your eyes, maybe someday you'll find a brain back there."

"How long did it take for you to come up with that one?" He sighed, finishing the first sheet of your paperwork.

"Admittedly, longer than usual, I'd say a few seconds tops." You retorted again.

He stared off for a moment, you knew he was thinking of something, not something good but... something. "Stop acting like a child, if you want to, why don't you go play in traffic."

"Just because you have a dick doesn't mean you have to act like one." you whined.

Levi's eyebrows both shot up. Oh, the things he could respond with. "Oh so if I stick my dick in your mouth would you shut the fuck up for two moments?"

"Mh, I once heard Hange say that opposites attract, so I hope you find someone pretty, smart and kind, as well as someone who's actually good at being annoying." You teased in response.

"I already have."

You looked at him in shock, though, thoroughly disappointed. You knew you would never be his, but knowing he found someone else shot you straight through the heart.

"Oh really~" You dragged out. "Who? Is it... Petra!, no, maybe... Hange? No you couldn't stand that either. Erwin? Who knows? Only you I'm assuming, you and them, could-"

"They don't know. That's one hint." he cut you off.

"Ah, so you haven't told them." You hopped off the desk and circled around him like a shark watching her pray intently, it almost, almost, intimidated him in the slightest. "Is it a she- a he- are they kind? Pretty? Handsome? Have you guys kissed? Fucked? Have you-"

"Shut the fuck up!" He shouted, loud enough for even the titans to hear. "How fucking oblivious do you have to be to not realize who it is!"

"I don't know, you'll just have to tell me."

"Then tell you I will." he stood up and grabbed ahold of you, being a similar height it was rather easy for him to pin you up against the wall behind his desk and passionately kiss you.

Within an instant you were kissing him back, without hesitating you let him slip his tongue inside.

Once he finally let you go, he murmured a small "I love you." through the gasps and pants you both emitted.

"I knew you did. I love you too."

You chuckled before punching him lightly in the arm.
