Y/N's POV
After a couple of hours, me and Max finally make it to his house. I stare at it zoning out "His house seems so.. Nice."

I'm snapped out of my thoughts by a tap on the car window, it's Max. "Shall we go inside now? It's getting a bit cold. I can put your bike up tomorrow for you." He asks me already opening my door.

I nod and step out the car gripping onto my backpack strap, Max and I walk up to his front porch when suddenly I hear growling from below me.

I look down at my feet and I see a dog, he growls at me and barks, the dog also seems to what looks like to be glaring at me. I glare back and the dog whimpers and cowers away.

"Oh wow, Thorn never backs down like that, he's a guard dog you see." I hear from beside me. I nod once again "God why can't I talk? It's like there's something forcing me not too.."

I look back up as I hear Max unlock his front door and open it, he walks in and turns to me smiling. "Please come in, the empty bedroom is upstairs to your left."

I thank him and ask, looking up at him "Thank you Max, do you think you have anything to eat? I'm a bit hungry." He nods and walks to the kitchen.

I decide to explore a bit, I walk to what seems to be the living room and walk up to a shelf with lots of books. I pick one up and start reading it, "Huh, Vampires and Gypsys seems like Max likes fiction." I think to myself as I start flipping some pages and start reading a certain page that caught my eye.

Gypsys

Gypsys have what they like to call prophecies, Gypsys each get one prophecy they must complete. If they have yet to complete their prophecy they have to stay on earth for many years, their powers slowly draining.

Some gypsys have the luck to get rare prophecies, including other supernatural beings. As an example there once was a gypsy named Alix who had a prophecy with a hybrid, this hybrid was powerful as it was a mix of a -i--n and a w--c-, she was brand new to the gypsy world and was very overwhelmed. She sadly didn't finish her prophecy as she disappeared.

"Hm, seems like those words have been marked out it's kinda hard to read them." I think to myself as I squint my eyes to see if I can decipher what the marked out words were but I sigh when I can't seem to decipher it so I continue reading.

Some gypsys also have very good luck and actually manage to meet other supernatural beings no one has ever seen before. There is a book of these other supernatural beings, telling the reader all about them.

Another thing about gypsys is that some gypsys can share a prophecy, One of them with a kind and good ending the other with an ending that is too terrible to explain. Whatever gypsy finishes first the other gypsy has to live on earth, their powers slowly draining them and slowly killing them. Alix was apart of a shared prophecy with an old woman that no gypsy has known the name of, they do call her 'The protector.' since every time a young gypsy gets their prophecy she helps them along with their journey to help complete their prophecy.

'The protector' disappeared a long time ago, some gypsys assumed she withered away cause she finished her prophecy but others believe that she still is alive still wondering earth.
