"Elena!" Elizabeth gasped as she ran to hug her
Instead of hugging her back Elena kept still.She was to angry to bother.
"Why did you do that?" Elena said in a quiet voice
"Do what?" Elizabeth asked confused
"How could you lie to a man that you love him to save another man?"
"Elena look-"
"Elizabeth no.Tell me how you think that is alright." Elena slightly raised her voice a little
"Nothing-"
Elena nodded
"Nothing." She repeated
"But-"
"But what!" Elena raised her voice higher
"I dont mean to hurt the Commodore but-"
"Elizabeth!Tell me why?!"Elena asked
"I love Will"
"Then why accept the proposal?!"
"Elena you don't understand!" Elizabeth said raising her voice with the same tone as Elena's
"Dont understand what?That you pretend to love a man so the man you actually love is safe?" Elena said lowering her tone and it became weak and quite
"Elena-.Forget it!"
Elizabeth turned her back to Elena and sat on the bed.From under the pillow she took a rope she made of fabric.
"What is that?" Elena asked still in a weak and low voice
"I'm going to save Will." Elizabeth simply told her
"You are not thinking straight Elizabeth!"Elena raised her voice but it was still weak
"Elizabeth?Elena?" Said the governor from the other side of the door.
"Y-yes father." Elena said
"Go.I don't care anymore go."
Mouthed Elena
"Are you two arguing?"
"No father we are fine." Elena replied trying to keep her voice steady
She failed and ends up breaking into tears.The governor walked away for a second but ended up coming back and unlocking the door.Elena put her head in her hands and started to cry hysterically.
"Elena?" The governor asked completely ignoring the fact Elizabeth wasn't there
"Elena?" He asked again
The governor pulled her hands away from her face and she faced him.
"Why are you crying?" The governor asked worried and hugged her.
Elena struggled to find words to say but ended up saying...
"Mother.I remember when she died."she mumbled
The governor slightly frowns.He has seen his daughter cry about her mother before.She never cried like this.She was crying to hysterically to be crying for her mother.What could be wrong?The governor did not say a word.He won't ask her what really happened until she seems fine to speak about it,so he asked where Elizabeth was.
"Where is Elizabeth?"
"She is going to fight" Elena said truthfully
The governor's face showed he was angry and wanted to shout at Elena asking why she let her go but decided to not upset her even further.He let go of Elena and went to speak to Gillette.Elena followed.She ignored everything they said but then chose to speak.
"I will go find her!"
"What?" Her father questioned
"I will go find her you stay here father!" Elena said
She then wiped her tears, took her dress of and only in her undergarments and used the rope Elizabeth made to get of the Dauntless and onto a dinghy from the ship before her father reached her.
