It's just a dare: Part 3

Julie's POV

When I got home, I couldn't stop smiling. I can't believe Luke and I kissed. He's just so amazing and I can relate to him in some many ways. And we so much in common, we like the same music, the same movies, everything. I'm so lucky to have a guy like him.

(A few days later)

I was at my locker minding my own business when someone came by my locker.

???: Hey babe.

Julie: I'm not your babe.

???: What's wrong with that?

Julie: What do you want, Nick?

Nick: I have some information about Patterson that you will find very interesting.

Julie: Not interested.

I turned around but I saw Carrie in front of me.

Carrie: Hey Molina.

Julie: Okay, what's going on?

Nick: Like I said, we have some information.

Julie: And like I said, not interested.

Carrie: You might want to hear this.

Nick: Luke only asked you out because of a dare. He didn't even like you.

Julie: That's not true. He would never do that.

Carrie: Of course he did. One of his friends told us.

Julie: I don't believe you.

Nick: You wanna bet?

He pulled out his phone and call someone, Carrie grabbed me by the arm and took me outside with Nick. Once we were outside, I see a familiar  face coming out of the car.

Julie: Bobby?

Bobby: Hey Jules.

Julie: What's going on?

Luke's POV

I want to tell Julie everything. I really like her and I don't want to date her because of a dare. I texted Alex and Reggie that I'm planning on telling Julie the dare and I was happy that they agreed. I went to music class and saw my friends sitting in the back. But I couldn't find Bobby anywhere. Honestly, I don't even know why I'm friends with him. He's nothing but a jerk who wants attention and I'm thinking of kicking him out of the band if he keeps continuing it.

Luke: Hey guys.

Reggie: Hey Luke.

Alex: How was the date?

Luke: *sighs* Amazing. We have so much in common and I feel so connected with her.

Flynn: But what's the problem?

Luke: You guys didn't tell them?

Willie: Tell us what?

Reggie: Don't get mad okay?

F and W: Okay?

Alex: Bobby dared Luke to ask her out.

F and W: WHAT?!

Luke: I know it's sounds bad.

Flynn: Bad? Luke this is the worst thing you could have done.

Luke: Trust me, I didn't even want to do it.

Willie: But you did.

Luke: Look I already feel guilty enough as it is.

Flynn: You should.

Luke: It's not my fault I got dared!

Julie: So it's true?

My eyes widen and I turned around slowly to see Julie with a tear stained face. Oh crap how much did she hear?

Luke: Julie I-

Julie: Save it. I heard everything. I can't believe you did that.

Luke: Julie I didn't even want to do it. Please you got to believe me.

I tried reaching my hands towards but she pulled away.

Julie: No you stay away from me.

I had tears in my eyes knowing that I hurt her.

Julie: Bobby was right. You only want to hurt me.

And just like that, she ran out of the classroom. I had no other choice but to run after her.

Luke: JULIE!

I ran as fast as I can to reach her but I got pushed against the locker by none other than Bobby.

Luke: Seriously Bobby. What's your problem?

Bobby: My problem is you. Always getting the attention, stealing Carrie Wilson, and you don't even respect me. And now I'm taking everything away from you.

Luke: First of all, I never even liked Carrie and second of all, I don't even care about the attention. You know what, I should've done this a long time ago, you're out of the band.

Bobby: Good, I didn't even want to be in it.

He let go of my shirt and left. I've looked around to find Julie but I couldn't even find her. I feel so bad right now. When I got home, I couldn't stop crying because of what happened with Julie. I should have never accepted that stupid dare. I grabbed my guitar and I played a melody.

When I finished, I had tears in my eyes. I know what I need to do. I went to my messages to find Julie's address. I went to my car and drive to her house. But when I got there, I saw Julie hugging Nick. I don't know what happened between them but I do know that my heart broke when I saw them. I started my car and went back home with newfound tears in my eyes.
