I quietly move out of my bed, making sure I don't wake up V. I fix the blanket on her then I make way to the closet. "Dear lord, please tell me the three dumbasses actually did what I asked them to do." I pray quickly before slowly opening the doors. Relief takes over me once I see everything I asked them to get, tucked into a corner. "Thank you God. I will not forget this."
I grab everything out and place it neatly on top of a table that faces Valentina. Once I'm done I hop back in to bed and wait for her to wake up.

Five minutes have passed and I am sick of waiting. I was not born with patients. I cannot do this.

I shake her frantically, "V. Wake up." She opens her eyes, I lay back down, close my eyes, and act like nothing happened.

"J?" She says in a tired voice, slowly sitting up. "Did you shake me? What the fuck is wrong with you?"

"I'm not sure what you're talking about. I've been sleeping this whole time." I lie, turning to face her. "But, I'm quite hungry."

"You woke up a second ago and now you're hungry?" She side eyes me, "you're so odd." Val rubs her eyes whilst yawning at the same time. She looks up and her eyes land on the table. "Holy fuck. I have horrible eye sight but does that say 'will you be my girlfriend?" V smiles, becoming very happy. "If it does, the answer is yes."

I pull her next to me and she covers her mouth, "I don't care about morning breath." She rolls her eyes and moves her hands to my waist. "So you wanna be my girlfriend?"

"You wanna be my boyfriend?" Val gives me a look that almost makes me fold.

I swallow the lump in my throat, "yes."

"Well, I'd like to be your girlfriend." She gives me a kiss, "great way to start my day. Thank you."

I kiss her and place her on top of me. "You know, we should just stay in bed all day." I run my hand over her leg, "sounds like a great idea to me."

"Hmmm, sounds like a good idea except Dahlia is flying in a day earlier. Aka, today. and I have to pick her up."

"Oh please, you know damn well if you asked onyx to pick her up he would do it in a heart beat."

"True. Okay, I'll text him later. Okay?"

"Okay." I wrap my arms around her waist, pulling her closer to me. "Thank you." My voice almost a whisper.

"Mhm," she hums, staring into my eyes. She pulls on my shirt, "any time." Val kisses me and I of course kiss back because. Gah damn.

Valentina

I wake up to a phone call. As I sit up and I notice João isn't next to me. Him and I fell asleep together but he's not here. "João?" I call out from the bed, picking up my phone.

No response

He probably had a meeting or had practice. I answer the call and bring my phone to my ear. "Hello?"

"Hi! Valentina, I'm Mary! I just wanted to let you know you've booked the role for Wednesday in the Wednesday Netflix series!"

My heart drops to my ass and I jump out of the bed. "W-what? You're joking right?" I pace back and forth. I forgot that I even auditioned for the show. "Oh my-this is insane! Thank you so much."

"We're so excited to have you as our Wednesday! We are aware you are in Qatar right now so we will have to do zooms to discuss everything, if that's alright."

"No, that's great. Just, uh, just let me know when you need me!"

"Of course. Have a good one Valentina!"

"You too!"

She hangs up and I freeze. I stare out the window, my phone in my hand. "Holy fuck. I'm gonna be an actress. I did it." I run my hand over my face in disbelief.

I wish João was here.

Maybe Geo is here? I wanna tell someone in person. I walk out the door and freeze when I see Roman in the hall. "Ro?"

He whips around, a bright smile spreading across his face. "VALLLLL MY GIRL!" He runs over, giving me a big hug.

"Hi, Roman." I laugh but I go quiet, "wait. Do you guys not have practice?"

"No...?" He pulls out of the hug giving me a questionable look.

"No meetings?"

"In like, five hours. Why?"

"Oh." I scratch my neck, "I don't know where João is."

"Oh."

"Yeah. Anyways, I gotta tell you something that's gonna change my life. You're the first person I'm telling this to. Okay? You can't go on Roblox and tell your Roblox friends. Okay?"

"Asshole. But yes. I understand."

"A month ago I auditioned for a show called Wednesday like Wednesday Addams. And like two minutes ago, a lady named Mary called me and told me I got the part." Him and I both start jumping like two year olds.

"HOLY SHIT. VAL YOURE GONNA BE WEDNESDAY." He picks me up and spins me in a circle before giving me a tight hug. "I'm really happy for you, sis."

My heart melts in an instant. "Sis? Like sister." I tear up a little, "I love you Roman." I give him a kiss on the cheek. "Thanks for always being my little support system."

"Thanks for being a sister to me." Roman smiles, his eyes genuine. "Really."

"Of course, Ro."

Onyx and Oliver poke their heads out from Olivers room. "Are you guys good? Why was there screaming?" Roman questions with a concerned look on his face.

"I'm gonna be on Netflix."

"Huh?" Oliver and onyx say in unison.

"A month ago i auditioned for a show based on Wednesday Addams and i got the Role of Wednesday." I watch their jaws drop.

"You're shitting my dick." Onyx tells me with wide eyes.

"Excuse me?"

"THIS IS INCREDIBLE" onyx lifts me up the same ways Roman did. Oliver joins in. They both through me up in the air, making me laugh.
