We pull up to the doctor's office ten minutes later and five minutes before her appointment.

I turn the car off glad to finally turn off the Taylor Swift music that's been blaring through the car for the past fifteen minutes.

I tried to tune it out but it was hard considering Ev was screaming the lyrics like a crazed fan.

I look over to her and see she's already undoing her seatbelt in a huge hurry like us being five minutes early is actually her version of being late.

Ev is out of the car before I even get a chance to undo my seatbelt.

She hates being late.

And I mean she hates it.

Once, I was late to her eighth birthday party and she went apeshit.

I don't know why, it's not like she wanted me there but she still went mental.

She undoes Aida from her seat and takes her out while I go around to the trunk and pull out the stroller.

I look at it in its folded form and realise I have no fucking clue how to put it back up.

I pull at a few things when I hear a groan.

"Dude, just forget the stroller and get the bag. We can't be late." She says and I quickly put the stroller back in the trunk and instead grab the bag and sling it over my shoulder.

I close the trunk and we all walk into the doctor's office.

There's a small queue to the receptionist so we stand at the back of it and Ev looks me over with a laugh.

"It's a good look for you. You know the whole bag thing." She laughs and I push her face with my palm like a child.

"Shut up," I mumble.
