"Carmen do you remember nico?" Estelle asks me as I walk out of my bathroom
"Uh the one from Italy" I question
"Yeah that one"
"Yeah why?"
"Well he just followed me on instagram and messaged me"
"Oh. What did he say?"
"He was like hey blah blah by the way I'm coming back to Paris for school so maybe we can hang out"
I squealed
"AHHHHH what did you respond" I ask her
"Nothing yet" she says
"Should I say yes" she adds
"Duhhhh he was so cute and I definitely see you guys together" I say
"Alright caramel calm down" she says
I calm down but I'm just way to happy to even think
" now that we are on the topic of realatinoships..." she says before pausing
I hold my breath because I know what's coming next
"Are you finally ready to talk about what happend with Landon" she asks me with a sympathetic tone
" there isn't really much to talk about, he cheated on me and lied for 3 months about it and I was stupid for not seeing it so it's on me" I say trying to quickly move away from the topic that still stung
"Carmen it was a month ago your going to have to speak with somebody at some point" Estelle says
"I will I just need time" I say
She nods and goes back to her phone

" are you serious" I say in a hurt tone
" Carmen I'm sorry but I can't do this with you anymore" my boyfriend Landon says to me
"I don't even understand you cheated on me. And I forgave you and gave you another chance. Yet your standing here breaking up with me." I say while my voice cracks
"Look car there just isn't any fire left in our relationship"
"Gee I really wonder why, maybe it was the fact that you cheated on me" I yell
"But you said you forgave me and you lied" he yells louder
"Your unbelievable" I say with my voice softening
"Like I said I'm sor-"
"Just get out." I say and turn around
I hear him slam my door and leave
I started crying at my window when I heard a knock
"Carmelita?" I hear my mom say on the other side of the door
I stayed quiet
"Baby I'm coming in."
My mother walks over to me and gives me a hug
"I don't even understand what I did wrong" I say in between sobs
"You did nothing mi amor, you showed him nothing but love and kindness." She says in my ear
"Then why did he leave" I say
She's silent for a minute
"People leave amor" she responds
It silent and she just holds me

"Carmen your parents are calling you" Estelle says
As I snap out of it
"Come on stell"
We walk down the stairs and see Neymar and Marquinhos, along with bruna and carol.
"Carmen!" Carol says coming up and giving me a hug
"Hey Carol" I say
"Where are the little ones?" I ask referring to her kids
"With there avó" she replies
I nod and walk into the kitchen
"Hey Carmen long time no see" Marquinhos says walking up and giving me a side hug
"It has been a while" I say laughing
We are all just chatting and Estelle is talking with my mom when the door bell rings
