After a day full of beach shenanigans it was finally time for the party Marcelo had invited us to
I put on a black top and jean shorts and put pink sweats in my bag for after it got dark because I knew it would get a little bit cold after the sun went down.
The party was on the beach so I was very happy because if stuff at the party got be to much I had my own escape ready.
We left the house and walked up to the north beach where the party was being held. I wasn't nervous because I didn't know anyone who would be there so I planned to stay with jean the whole night just in case.
"Thank god you guys came." Marcelo's said once we walked onto the sand.
"Why wouldn't we it's free food" Nico says joking and patting him on the back
We walked to the main part of the party it was so loud and there were so many people
"So did Landon ever text you back" Estelle asks me as I'm standing by myself overlooking the sun setting
"No I don't think he's going to, but at least I know I tried to get some closure" I say and sigh
I had caught Estelle up this morning once we got to the beach
"Hey I'm proud of you for trying and taking that risk really pushing out of your comfort zone" she says
"Yeah don't tell pedri he would be so mad" I say joking
"Well pedri isn't here so let's go get a soda or something and just have fun for the night" she says grabbing my arm and pulling me towards the table with all the drinks
—— We had a great time dancing and splashing around just living loose until me and Estelle went back up to the drink table to get another soda
"God I'm going to be so fat tomorrow "I say while popping a can of Diet Coke
"Hey it's diet" she says grabbing one and shrugging
We start chatting until something or should I say someone catches her eye
"What is it that your staring at" I ask
"Uh nothing I just um" she stutters
"I swear to go if it's Nico I'm going to throw up" I laugh
Her face still remains serious
"Ok now I'm scared to look" I remark
"Welil remember how I said I'm proud of you for TRYING to speak with Landon" she begins
"No. Stop" I say quietly
"I think he's ready to talk" she says pointing behind me
I slowly turn around to see Landon waiting for me and Estelle
"Hey. If you still want to talk I'm cool for like ten minutes" he say motioning over closer to the water
"Yeah yeah." I say turning back to Estelle
"Now I'm freaking" I whisper
"Just say what you want to say" she says and takes a deep breath
"Ok ok love you see you in a second" I say walking over to Landon
"Ok lead the way" I say
He nods and walks down to the beach where it's quiet and not a lot of people are just some tourists
"So I just wanted to start by saying I'm sorry for being so hot headed at the party last time,it's just I saw you mouth something to jean and I just had a feeling and I felt like I had to protect dee. And once I jumped in and I saw you with jean I got kind of jealous in a way so all of the things that left my mouth after that was very uncalled for especially the last thing. I hope you know you had every right to slap me and say what you said because nobody should be able to get away with saying stuff like that and I just wanted to say that I am sorry" he says all in a huff
"No I understand, I was thinking about the beginning of our relationship when you were protective of me. I know you loved me and seeing you with Delphine like that shows that you lover her to and I wanted to ignore it but, there is a part of me that forgave you and still loves you which is why I reacted how I did." I say pausing
"But I do know you love her and I want both of you to be happy so as long as you're happy I'll be ok" I say and muster a small smile
Out of nowhere he pulls me in for a hug
I hug him back
"There is a part of me that still loves you to, and I'll always be here to protect you. But I do love Delphine and I want to not screw things up with her. So friends?" He asks
I pull away from the hug
"Friends" I say and shake his hand
We walk back to the party and before I go to find Estelle or any of my other freinds Landon stops me again
"So you don't have to but if possible can you talk to dee I know she feels bad and just wants to apologize to you" he asks
"Sure, is she here?" I ask
"No but maybe call her" he says before waving and walking back to a group of his friends
I send Delphine a text and ask if she wants to call in the morning before I spot jean in the crowd
"Hey jean, I just talked to Landon and I think I'm gonna be ok" I say
He gives me a side hug
"I know your going to be ok, but hey now that you and Landon are friends Marcelo Nico and I can hangout with him later tonight" he says and laughs
I laugh with him then stand up
"I'm going to go out my sweats on but see you later?" I ask
"See you car"he says saluting me

I change then sit by the water by myself letting everything sink in
The party died down so I was confused when it got loud and I heard people running towards me
I turn to see Estelle,Nico,Jean,Marcelo and Landon running towards the water
"I FOUND HER"Marcelo shouts
"I wasn't lost" I chuckle then stand up
"It sounds like someone is giving attitude,fellas I think she needs to get dunked" he says looking at nick and jean then Landon
Suddenly Nico is picking me up and jean is holding my legs and they are trying to throw me in the water
Estelle takes a picture of us joking around before they set me down —————-
