I woke up with a massive headache
The worst I'd had in a while

I turn over in my bed and see Mia on the floor near me

"Mia, are you alright?" I ask

"Me? I should be asking you if your alright" she says

"Why, what do you mean?" I ask her sitting up completely

"You were whimpering the whole night in your sleep, I got so worried I just stayed by you just in case"

"You didn't have to do that" I say to her

"Leave it be, your 18 now." She says

I keep forgetting my birthday

"Happy birthday Carmen" she says hugging me

"What's happy about it, this time last month I was getting walked out on." I say

" how about a deal? No Landon for the whole day, and I will not hate Pedri anymore" she proposes

"I guess that's a good deal" I say sighing and getting up walking to the bathroom

Once i close the door I go near the mirror and call my parents

"Gracias mamá" I say while laughing

"I have your papá right here and Neymar just give him a second to get off the phone"

"Feliz cumpleaños pequeña" my dad says

"Thank you, I miss you guys so much" I say

"We miss you too, but you will see us soon. Your only there for 5 more days so live it up" my mom says

I smile and we chat before I hear Neymar walk into the room

"es el cumpleaños de la princesita" he says as he sits near my father

"Yes yes. I guess I'm 18 now which means I don't have to live off an AM pass anymore" I say laughing

"Ay no oh Carmen en el camino da mucho miedo" Neymar says while laughing back

"Hey that's not funny, I'm a good driver. I don't want your negative energy. Where is bruna?" I ask

"She is currently walking back from the park with tato, she should be here soon" my mom says

We are all just chatting about what I'm doing in the morning and afternoon then dinner is brought up

"Are you going to go to dinner tonight or are you staying in?" My dad asks

"Nobody be mad right now... I'm going out with Gavi tonight"I say hastily

"That's fine, as long as your not dating him given the fact you've known him for only a little over a week" my dad says

"I am not dating him, we are just friends or whatever as of right now" I say

"You know my opinion" my mom says

"Si si" I say

Just as I'm about to say something else I hear bruna walk in

"Is that Carmen on the phone?" She asks

"Yes we are talking to her before she goes to breakfast"

"Es el día de Carmen" she says laughing

"Thank you guys for all calling it means a lot." I say

"Claro que si Nosotros te amamos" my dad says

"I love you guys too, but I gotta go see you guys later" i say
