Following the birth of Gavi and I's baby boy who we named Fernando

Life was rolling smoothly, we were living together in Barcelona just being sure everything would be perfect for Fernando.

"Pablo what time is your game today" I ask Gavi as he is sitting in the nursery with Fernando

"Not until later, it's at 7 but I have to leave at 3" he informs me as I nod

"Well if your busy schedule allows you can join me and this little man in the pool" I say scoping Fernando out of his crib

"Maybe, the schedule gets busier by the second" he jokes

I smile and walk out of the room downstairs into the kitchen and grab a water bottle begin walking out with Fernando to the pool

After setting the water bottle down and placing Fernando in his baby float I float around with him just playing around and letting him splash water wherever he wants

10 minutes later I hear the garden door open and I look down the path and I see Gavi walking towards us with a slight skip in his step

I smile at him and grab Fernando out of the floaty
Keeping his head well away from the water I begging to move towards the more shallow end where I'm able to walk

Gavi sits down on the edge of the pool and I stand right in front of him with Fernando still in my arms

"Hey so I know you said no pre wedding gifts but I really think you mi-" he begins before I cut him off

"No Gavi deal is a deal, you don't buy me anything. Nothing. Nada" I say to him

"See your gonna wanna hear me out, I did not buy anything for you per say" he says looking over his shoulder and motioning for someone to come over

I look down the path and see jean walking down the path towards the pool

"Oh my goodness you didn't" I say softly

"I did" he says before giving me a peck on the lips and taking Fernando so I could talk to jean

As soon as I get out of the pool I run to go give him a hug

"Noooo!" He yells out as I hug him

"Your soaked Carmen why did you just Hug me" he says jokingly

"Shut up you doofus" I say and he hugs me back

As we release from the hug I smile and lightly punch his arm

"I missed you bro, I was wondering how long it was going to take you to come visit" I say and laugh

"Obviously not that long considering I saw you 4 months ago" he says laughing

"Well whatever you are here now and this time Fernando is actually here" I say and walk over to Gavi and Fernando who are farther down the path in the sandbox

"Come on mi Vida" I say as I pick up Fernando and begin walking back

"Okay car I'm heading out, I'll see you soon" he say's running up to me

"Okay I love you" I say and give him a kiss before he uses a side path to get to the garage

"Anyway, Jean meet Fernando or fer or if you really want to pedazo" I say and chuckle slightly

"I have no idea what that means" he says and laughs

"It means chunk, my mom made it up when fer was 3 months old" I say and get back in the pool with Fernando
