I rolled up outside of Estelle's house and she came running outside and got it my car
"Good morning caramel" she says out of breath
"Good morning to you too" I say and laugh before leaving her house
"So that guy Nico..." she says and pauses
"What about him" I ask eagerly
"Well after class today he offered to take me to get a coffee" she spits out
"Please tell me you said yes" I ask her slowing down
"Obviously I said yes you big doof"
I throw my hands up off the wheel in defense
" keep your hands on the wheel Carmen or they are gonna take your am pass"
"Blah blah" I say speeding up
We are booming out of the main part of the city to the little town Honfleur where our school is
Once we pull up to the gate I scan my parking Id and Estelle scans her student Id
The gates open and I roll slowly through them and to my space
"Alright see you in physics" she says as she spots nico from afar
"Alright stell"
I walk to the student commons and get a coffee so I can function for the next 3 hours.
I'm only here for my management class and physics; which is kicking my ass right now but my management class is only fun when I'm in school so I came for that today.
I walked into the secondary building where my management class was
"Carmalita??" I hear my name practically shouted from the back of the classroom
I see my friends Delphine and Jean
"hey you guys" I say walking towards their table
"How have you been car we haven't heard from you in ages" Delphine says
"I could be better" I say chuckling
"Well I don't think you have to worry because Landon hasn't been at school in a while" Jean says
Just then I get a text and I pull my phone out of my pocket and see the name GAVI lit up across my phone
I turn red hot
"Carmen what's that your looking at" Jean asks me
"Uh.. uh just a text" I say
I haven't even gotten to the message I'm just staring at his name
It doubles
He sent me two messages
I finally snap out of it and click on them
It read:
Hey Carmen it was really nice meeting you yesterday and I hope we can talk soon ❤️
Why the hell was he sending me hearts when he has a girlfriend or whatever they are
I respond with a thumbs up and place my phone down and remain calm

Gavi pov:
She sent me a thumbs up
Is she mad at me?
Did I do something wrong?
I walk over to Pedri's room and ask him a question
"When you talked to Carmen earlier did she seem off"
"Well since her break up she hasn't fully been herself but she seemed alright why?" Pedri responded
"Well did she say anything or like do something that seems off" I asked
"Uh not really she just wanted to know if you had a girlfriend or not. So I told her about Bianca"
"Bro what, why? We aren't even together anymore" I say
"You say that a lot and then a week later your back together, I really do not want her to be hurt again and this is what you do Gavi. Her mom told me about after her last boyfriend and she didn't leave her room for a week after their breakup. And she's finally on the road to being in a good place and I don't want anything or anyone ruining that." He says
His words sting a bit but I get over that quickly
"What makes you think im not capeable of changing for her?" I ask him softly
"Because you've been hurt to and you won't admit it but when people are hurt and they let it build up they always end up hurting others, even if they love them." He says
"Well I'm going to prove you wrong. She's different, she sees me. And that's what I need, I need someone who sees me."
"You can try your luck given she knows about you little novia but if you hurt her I swear to god I'll kick your ass"
"Deal" I say before exiting his room

Back to Carmen's pov:
My 1st class was over and I was walking back to student commons with Jean because we had physics with Estelle and her first class was connected to the student commons building
"So what did that message say" he brings up
"Well this guy asked for my number and stuff but he has like a girlfriend so I was just startled that he texted in the first place" I say trying to brush off the topic
"Well let me tell you the latest drama since you've been gone. The guy nico has been here for 3 days and is already attracting most of our school but I was talking to him yesterday and he doesn't care he wants-"
"Stell" I cut him off
"Your a goddess, how did you know so fast." He questions
"You just have to have working ojos to see that they obviously want each other "I say
"Shut up here they come now"
"Hey guys you all remember nico right?" She says
"Grade 9 science labs" I say laughing
"Madame Helene absolutely hated us" he says
"What class are you headed to Nico?" Jean asks
"Physics actually with all you guys"
"Lovely well let's go before we are late" I say and we walk to class
We all sit at one table and it's safe to say
Monsieur Dane hated us all being in a group
"sorry to disturb you but I have a class to teach" he says as he walks up to our table
"Our bads" Nico says
"Well let's all refocus and watch some champions league" he suggests walking to the front of the room
Everyone cheers and he puts on Manchester city vs dortmund

After class
"Don't get me wrong i would do anything for Jude Bellingham" I say as Jean is walking me to my car
"I'm straight but same" he replies
"Well I will text you once I get through this dreaded day" I say jokingly
"I wish I was you, I have to go home and clean my room" he says
"Alright Jean I will see you later" I say getting in my car
"Bye caramel" he says waving and walking back to his car
I pull out of my space and turn my favorite song on and drive back into the city
