The princess and The cat

Chapter two: Trouble

Rose woke up in her bed tiredly stretching she got up from her bed doing her daily routine.

She walked downstairs seeing her family getting ready for breakfast

"Good morning Rose! about time you came to join us we were about to start without you" her mother said getting her utensils ready

"Yeah and I would of eaten ALLL of your food!" Lily said with a smile

"Ha ha" Rose said monotonley as she sat down

"That's my girl haha!" her father said to her younger sister

"Hey dad I have a question about the cat hybrids-"

"PFFFFT" her father spit out water he was drinking

"UGH LOUIS FOR F*CKS SAKE MANNERS YOU F*CKING IMBECILE! Rose honey don't talk about the cat hybrids during breakfast please" Her mother yelled then said calmly as she was cutting up some pancake's

"But...What if they ALL didn't die"

"WHAT!? are you saying you saw one"

"Uh no I'm just saying what IF they all didn't die what would uh happen"

"They would get their heads chopped off"

"LOUIS LILY IS PRESENT." Her mother yelled

"WHAT she asked!" her father said quickly defending himself

"But why!?" Rose yelled in question

"WHY NOT!? They deserve it for-! uh...for uh...for" he said quietly

"Actually...yes why did they deserve to die Louis?" the queen asked wondering why he did what he did

"Uh...ahem-WELP that's enough pancakes for me! haha" he said and quickly left

"Ugh finally I get to eat without throwing up" Her mother said and quickly took a bite of her pancakes

Rose furrowed her brows slightly and hunched back down

"Hey sis are you gonna eat that" her sister budged in as Rose was thinking to herself

"Why did he kill them? They MUST have done something wrong if he had to do such thing right?" Rose asked in her thoughts

After breakfast Rose went back to her bedroom until she decided to take a stroll through the castle she quickly stopped hearing a conversation go on in one of the guest rooms

"I want a ball with all the prince's you can find"

"ah yes we will do that you honor but we will have to see which prince she enjoys herself with the most!"

"whatever but she WILL get married to one of them end of conversation I don't CARE what she says"

Rose gasped silently covering her mouth and ran

She ran out of the castle angrily and sadly she got to the woods she slowed down she stopped running falling on the floor when she couldn't run anymore she weeped for what seemed like hours before she heard a voice call her

"Princess?"

She looked up seeing cat

"Oh Cat!" She cried standing up and hugging her crying on her shoulder

"Hey you're alright you're fine" Cat repeated softly comforting her rubbing her back softly

Fire flies shone and darkened lighting up the woods for them

The princess sniffed as she leaned back wiping her tears away of her left eye

"Now princess what's wrong?" The cat asked wiping the tears on her right eye

"It's-my-mom" she said with gasps in between words

"Calm down princess" Cat said hugging her again "You don't have to back away just tell me like this" Cat said as she kept hugging her

"My mom-wants..." She took a deep breath

"Take your time...im in no rush" The cat comforted her

"...My mom...she wants me to get married to some guy and I don't want to get married but she wants me to get married and she said no matter what ill be forced to marry a prince but I don't wANT TO!" the princess yelled before having cat pat her back calmly

"I'm not ready...I don't...want to get married...not yet at least"

Rose hugged cat tightly closing her eyes for a moment before she thought of something

"Cat!"

"Oh yes?" Cat asked feeling Rose lean back

"What if you come to the ball!"

"...W-What?" Cat asked

"Why don't you come to the ball! then I wont have to marry any of those guys!"

"But wouldn't that mean you would have to uh...get married to me?"

"Oh..." The princess said quietly sitting back down on the ground

"You know what I'll tell you this for now we get to know each other better and then we can plan out how we're going to solve this issue alright?" Cat said with a smile

"Thank you Cat" The princess said with a smile hugging her tightly

Cat smiled softly and hugged her back

"Now lets get you home alright?"

"...Okay"

"Hey you look tired from all that crying" Cat said noticing her slumped down position

"Hm? oh yeah I guess" The princess said tiredly starting to walk

Cat stopped her by grabbing her arm The princess looked back at her confused

"Let me take you" Cat said with a smile

"Oh okay...how are you"

"Sit here" Cat said patting down on a tree stump

"Okay?" The princess asked in question she sat on the tree stump cat turning around showing her back she grabbed her legs

"Set your arms on my shoulder"

The princess did so now being carried by cat

"Alright now hold on VERY tightly"

"What why-"

Cat jumped suddenly both of them flew up high into the night sky Rose gasped and held on to cat tightly making cat chuckle

Cat landed on a tree now starting to run to her place Rose looked around now being able to see the stars and the moon

Rose turned back now being able to see her castle

Cat jumped to her open window getting in her bedroom

"Wow I didn't know you guys could do that" Rose said with a smile

"Eh its just the basics...anyway I should get going hah..." cat said with a sad tone she tried to hide

"oh yeah...I guess so..."

Cat got on her window frame once more

"uh-CAT-!" Rose quickly bursted out

"Oh yes princess"

"Come on tell her"

"Um g-...good night" Rose said quietly but still loud enough to be heard by cat

Cat smiled

"Good night princess" Cat turned back to the night and jumped out seeing her disappear into the woods

"*sigh* maybe next time..."

It was the middle of the night once again

Rose opened her eyes having the feeling of something watching her she stood up slightly seeing two cat eyes she tilted her head a bit having the eyes follow along with her she smiled turning back to turn on the lights she turned back not seeing the eyes anymore she looked out her window catching a glimpse of a orange and red tail disappearing into the woods
