Chapter three: Getting to know you

Rose woke up with a stretch and got off her bed doing her daily routine. She walked downstairs into the kitchen seeing all of her family members there

"And then I told him you're too weak to fight someone like me! HAHAHAHA" The king laughed banging his hands on the table

Rose sat down in the table having the maids serve her breakfast quickly leaving soon after to clean up the kitchen

"Dad did you really fight with the cat-hybrids?" Lily nudged in

"Ah-hah who uh told you that sweetie?" The king asked with a smile

"The people at the village! They told me you faught an entire army of them!"

"Well yes I did" her father said with a smile

"*GASP* but why? were they bad? can you tell how?"

"YES I CAN" her father said loudly holding up his hand

"So...it was a cloudy evening...the clouds were getting darker by the second I was on my horse you know the usual AND THEN I saw this village I came up to them telling them hey I want to be friends-! BUT NO...They pulled out their SWORDS and threatened me! and then...A FIGHT BROKE OUT! everyone was throwing swords and punching and BLOOD SHEE-" "AHEM"

The king turned to look at his wife seeing her give her a look making him sigh annoyingly

"And they all faught...But then...it was just me and that stupid HIDEOUS cat...he was too weak to be called a king...and then WE FAUGHT it was never ending! it took on forever the best fight in history and then...finally our swords broke so we had a fist fight to the death so we PUNCHED AND PUNCHED until he finally fell I put my foot on his chest seeing...there was no pulse...and then... I left..." He finished

Lily was happily clapping meanwhile the princess was left confused and sort of angry

"Are you sure that's how it went" Rose said crossing her arms giving him a look

"But my dearest daughter it did!" He said offended at the fact that his daughter didn't believe him then put on a confident look

Rose looked down at her food and started to eat

Afternoon came

she decided it would be a great time to go out and see cat again. So she went down stairs and left the castle

She walked in the woods the same spot they meet she looked around seeing cat sleeping leaning on a tree Rose walked up to her seeing she had her eyes closed Rose smiled and leaned closer to her face looking at her features she was about to touch her face before cat opened her eyes

Rose quickly leaned back with a gasp

"Hey well if you're going to kiss me take me out on a date first" Cat teased as she got up

"I wasn't going to kiss you! I just...wanted to get a closer look at your ears is all.." The princess said defending herself clearly being flustered making the cat chuckle

"Its fine princess I knew you wouldn't do such a thing after all I'm pretty sure you would go bonkers if you kissed me" Cat said walking beside her putting her hand on her shoulder dragging her tail up around the princess's body

"quit it" rose said waving away her hand off her shoulder making cat smile

"So what do you want to do today" cat said walking in font of her

"Hm we can go just take a walk actually"

"Alright" Cat said getting next to her

They both walked for a while before getting to a stream
