The princess woke up not seeing Cat anywhere near her she got up and went to her bathroom doing what she needed getting out with wet hair which was dripping the floor with water she got to her room opening the door before seeing a pink rose in her bed
She walked up to it seeing the thorns were hand picked off Rose furrowed her brows at the thought but kept the rose close to her
She walked down stairs being greeted with the maids "Oh! Rose we've been wondering where your parents and sister have been? are they alright? they haven't come out at all yesterday!" One of the maids exclaimed
"Oh...uhm no need to worry! if anything I just finished talking to them" Rose said with a smile "Oh you have?" One of the maids asked
"Of course! They said they wanted to lay off for a few days you know my sister just wanted some time to herself and so did both my parents they told me to tell you all not to worry and they'll be out by tomorrow!" Rose smiled
"Oh what a relief!" One of the maids said starting to walk away "Oh! does this mean we have the rest of this day off to?" one of the other maids asked
Rose sighed in relief and walked to the door opening it up and walking outside
she walked happily seeing the clouds were cloudy and the breeze perfect as usual she stopped suddenly encountering cat crouching on a tree stump looking off at the path in front of her Rose realized she didn't have the cape and crown anymore
She walked up to her
"Cat! good morning" Rose smiled having Cat turn to look at her "Morning" Cat smiled back
"So I see you're not wearing the cape anymore" Rose pointed out
"Yeah being a king or queen whatever really isn't my style hah...for now" Cat whispered "I just want to enjoy the freeness while I can" Cat smiled as she looked up at her
"I see" Rose said
"Well want to go check on Nessy?" Rose asked "Sure" Cat responded
They both walked their way to Nessy's Rose walked in front of the door about to knock before realizing a letter stuck up in the door Rose grabbed it reading it
"Have to collect ingredient's for more potions will be back in a few days! - Nessy"
"What is that?" Cat asked "A note" She said handing it to Cat she took a moment to read it before looking back up at Rose with a hum
They both walked down the path of the woods feeling the cool breeze hit them
"It's really nice when the weather is like this" Rose smiled "Mhm" Cat hummed
"By the by I found this really nice place it's a small cave but its really nice its calm and soothing" Cat stated as they kept walking "Well let's check it out then shall we" Rose smiled
They both got to an entrance of a cave getting inside "You're right it is really quiet and calm" Rose said looking around
"Yeah...I've just found out about this place too...I've been out here for years and haven't even realized it" Cat chuckled "I see..." Rose said quietly as she walked in deeper and deeper
Cat walked behind her silently Rose stopped encountering a dead end before turning around flinching when she saw cat
"Oh my goodness you gave me a scare!" Rose smiled making Cat chuckle silently at her shock
They both started to hear harsh rain they turned around seeing it was indeed raining hard
"Oh no...well I guess we're stuck here forever" Cat shrugged making Rose smile
