Rose woke up to sun beaming on her bed she turned only to see an empty space next to her she sighed and got up stretching before her door was suddenly slammed open

"Rose! Today is the day we start invitations for the ball!" The queen smiled as she extended her hands out with joy

Rose tiredly looked at her with furrowed brows. She was NOT a morning person. But sadly her mother was so she now had to deal with her overly excited mother and invitations she did not want to make.

"Come come! Get ready!" The queen smiled as she got out of her room Rose groaned as she laid herself back on the bed

She got done with her morning needs and walked downstairs seeing her mother and father downstairs

"Oh! And then we put up a beautiful picture of her! So the hottest prince will see her and want to marry her immediately!" The queen said as she wrote some of her ideas on a piece of paper

"Yeah yeah as long as he's strong and is capable of battling me! Then I guess its fine" The King hunched on his chair

The queen looked up seeing Rose walking towards her "Rose! Oh I need to get a perfect photo of you! might as well do it right after breakfast!" The queen demanded as she put her notes up closing them up in a journal

"Woman do we have to do it right after breakfast?" The king said annoyed "Oh shut up louis its not like you're going to be the one in a dress...You're so boring" The queen rolled her eyes "It's not my fault I don't want to be put it a dress! that's weird! and disgusting eugh!" The king said as he put on a grossed out face

"There is nothing wrong with men wearing dresses mind you!" The queen yelled at him

"Whatever" The king rolled his eyes

"Oh lily could you pass me some napkins please?" The queen asked as she saw her younger daughter walk by her

"Sure" She said handing napkins to her

"Oh goodness the planning is going to be such a hassle" The queen sighed as she put some napkins on her lap

"Then why do it" Rose said quietly as she fidgeted with her fork making the queen turn to look at her

"Because. We are looking for the right prince Rose. I will not repeat myself" The queen said as she stood up straight in her chair

Rose sighed as she leaned back in her chair

Food was served and they all ate silently as the forks and spoons hit the glass plates.

"So Rose today we will go to the small town and pick out a dress for you! Isn't that exciting!?" Her mother said happily as the maids picked up the empty trays and plates

"I guess" Rose said in a sad tone

"Come now! The carriage is waiting outside" The queen said as she started to head out the door with Rose behind her

Rose looked out seeing the trees as they made their way towards the town

They got to their destination the queen and princess getting off the carriage and walking to the shop

"Oh! Your majesty! We are certainly glad you decided to pick us to help your daughter find a dress for her ball." One of the workers told her with a smile

"Well I am certainly glad you said yes to my offer" The queen smiled back

"Come this way! We have tons of dresses you can decide from" The worker said directing her towards the back of the shop where to most fanciest and most expensive dresses were they were only for royalty after all.
