Cat looked at the two girls with shocked faces before chuckling "Where did you two find this letter?" Cat asked "oh...well I found it back at the village" Nessy said looking at Rose then back at Cat
"I'm surprised you went back...this is a letter from my father that I never got to open because of how mad I was at him...it's an old birthday letter. He couldn't go for my birthday because...well he never told me" Cat shrugged looking at the two girls.
"Well...aren't you going to open it?" Rose asked Cat smiled and looked back at the letter her nail turned into a cat claw and opened the letter gliding her finger through the top of it she got the note out.
"Dear..." Cat stopped not wanting to read the name she cleared her throat "I am sorry I couldn't make it to your birthday. And I'm sorry I didn't get to tell you why. But just know that I love you and I'm so happy you are turning eight this year. you are growing so fast and I promise you when I get back I will make it up to you my little light..." Cat stopped
The two girls stared at Cat with a worried look "Cat?" Rose spoke up Cat rose her head with raised brows and widened eyes she cleared her throat "Yes princess?" Cat asked with a smile
"Are...Sorry we made you read the letter" Rose said quietly "What!? nonsense I'm completely fine" Cat said crumbling the paper up and throwing it off to the side the girls turned to look at the paper before suddenly seeing it catch on fire out of nowhere and fade away they turned back towards Cat
"Who wants more strawberries!" Cat said as she walked with extended arms and a smile Nessy and Rose both turned to look at each other before looking back at Cat following her to the strawberry tree.
Rose and Nessy walked besides each other as they smiled and giggled in their own conversation Rose sighed looking at Nessy with a smile she turned back feeling her smile slowly fade as she saw Cat walking behind them looking off to the side watching the tress flow with the wind
"Why don't you go talk to her?" Nessy suggested making Rose looked back at her
"Oh um yeah..." Rose said looking back at Cat Nessy smiled "You've been looking back a whole lot...is she worrying you?" Nessy smiled Rose looked back at her
"Well of course she does!" Rose yelled slightly "Well yeah but you've been staring at her a whole lot lately...maybe its more then worry?" Nessy smiled leaning towards Rose
"What!? No never Cat is my friend of course I have to worry about her" Rose said sternly as she kept walking "You're lyinggg" Nessy teased
"What? How am I lying" Rose asked "Well as a witch...we used to make these Chrystal's that told us when people are lying. And I just so happen to have those with me at all timesss" Nessy smiled pulling out a Chrystal out of her pocket that was shining Blue
"Huh..." Rose said silently "So do you have a crush on Cat?" Nessy asked
"Nope" Rose responded the crystal started to glow red "What does that mean?" Rose asked "It means you're lying."
Rose sprung up towards the Chrystal "GIVE ME THAT" Rose said trying to reach up towards the Chrystal having Nessy giggle slightly meanwhile Cat who was way behind tilted her head slightly to the side having a questioning look on her face
"Nessy!" Rose whispered "Don't worry! I wont tell her" Nessy smiled having Rose sigh in relief "So you DO have a crush on her! I knew it!" Nessy smiled "YOU KNEW!?" Rose whispered yelled
"It's so obvious the way you look at her the way you care so much about her you talk about her all the time and you stand so closely to her all the time" Nessy pointed out making Rose stare at her with wide eyes
