I was in the studio recording a song and it just felt good because music was really like my escape from reality. My little happy place.

"Mariah Carey? Come out the booth."

I took my headphones off and walked out the booth seeing Von leaning up against the engineer board and Durk sitting in a chair.

"Wassup?" I spoke

"So... B-Lovee dropped the song." Durk spoke

"I hate y'all." I said

The way he said that made me feel like it got bad attention.

"He dropped the song and because of you--"

"Don't say it, don't say it." I said as I covered my ears

Von started laughing and walked over to me and snatched my hands down.

"He dropped it and cuz' of you, that bitch done went double platinum like Brandy and Diana Ross in only 3 days."

I turned around and seen Kentrell standing wit' a smile on his face.

"What?" I said

"That's what I was tryna tell yo ass." Durk spoke

"Hm."

I took Von's phone and jumped up while screaming as my eyes filled with tears.

"Oh my Godddd." I cried

"Aww, what you crying for?" Durk chuckled as he put his arm around me

I just cried and cried until I finally spit some words out.

"He always been prouda you folks." Von spoke as he handed me some tissue

"BRIANNNN!!" I screamed while taking off up the stairs

"Brian, Brian, Frank and beans!" I yelled

"What what what? Why are you screaming? What happened?" Frank asks as he popped out the kitchen with a toothbrush in his hand and toothpaste around his mouth

"Ahh shit!! What the hell is going on?" Brian asks

"Guys, the song I did with B-Lovee just dropped 3 days ago and it done went double platinum." I said while jumping up and down

"Stop bullshitting..." Frank says as he looked as if he thought it was a prank

"Are you serious?" Brian asks with the same look on his face

"It's right hea'." Von says as he handed Brian his phone

It was really quiet for a second and Brian just smiled big as fuck.

"That's my girl!" He says as he high fives me before hugging me

"Congratulations dude!! That's so fucking awesome." Frank says

"I just know you're father's looking down smiling. Maybe not at the lyrics, but this here he's smiling at." Brian says

"And anotha' bonusss, yo ass is performing at the BET awards in 2 weeks." Quando spoke with a smile

"WHAT?!" I said

"Yep. Just got off the phone wit' Montana. They willing to pay you whatever you asking for." Quando says

"What about 3 million dollars?" I asked

"Not yet, maybe next year." Kentrell said as he looked like 'yeah right'
