After lunch

Stef's: POV
After Lena and I had lunch at golden corral
We came back to the house. Because I was getting tired
I never knew being pregnant can be so exhausting
When we entered the house, Lena put all the groceries away. While I went upstairs and changed out of my clothes and put something comfortable on, it was a rather hot outside. So I turned on the ceiling fan in our bedroom
Lena must be making her famous chicken gumbo Stew
She knew it was one of my favorites, lately I have been having a lot of heart burn. These babies were very finicky
When it came to certain foods l ate, Lena didn't mention anything about the woman who stopped by our table
I don't know what possess that lady to flirt with me
Luckily Lena isn't the jealous type. But l know she'll say something about later, l turned on the TV and wing through the channels to find a movie. I felt my eyes getting heavy so l closed and was off to la la land
I dreamt about my precious babies who looked like Lena and Francesca, but they had my eye color and my other little girl had light brown eyes. They both had curly hair
We haven't discussed any baby names, we decided to let the kids help us out with choosing the perfect names for our daughters, we don't know if there identical or fraternal twins. I had the amniocentesis test done to make sure the girls were born healthy and strong, we didn't find out about Xander's issue until he was five years old. Either way, we'll love them no matter what. We decided on a water birth, our midwife Kim was the one who suggested to us, l don't think l'll survive natural childbirth with some kinda drugs to help with the pain. I have a low tolerance of pain, Lena had the twins naturally. She went through it like a champ. Next week we start the birthing classes at the hospital, l can hardly wait even we went through it when Lena was pregnant with Francesca and Xander
I hope these months fly by fast, l'm not looking forward in taking an early maternity leave. But for the safety of our unborn baby's, l'm willing to make a sacrifice. I know Lena's been ordering all the furniture for the nursery, mom's coming down in a couple weeks to help out with the baby shower, my midwife says the twins can come early. I heard someone walked out of the door, Lena must be going to pick up the kids from summer camp. I decided to get up and go use the bathroom, l didn't realize how badly I had to go. These babies are pressing up against my bladder, once I was finished handling my business
I washed my hands over at the sink, l stared at my reflection in the mirror. I can't believe how long my hair has gotten these past few months, l applied some toothpaste on the toothbrush and beginning brushing my teeth.
