They're just ADORABLE
Sal would be nice to Travis despite the fact the Travis is always bullying him, since Sal is just like that. Sal would teach Travis that being gay is perfectly fine. He would teach Trav that being LGBTQ+ is not a sin. And they'd become friends, growing closer. Eventually, Sal would catch feelings for Travis. I don't know who'd confess tho- could be either of them to be completely honest.
