Mike's expression was puzzled as we stood alone near the library on the college campus. He asked me for answers in a serious tone, "Brian, now that we're alone, tell me, why do we need to go to the mortuary? What was going on when you were running like crazy this morning? And why did you black out?"

I took a deep breath and explained, "This morning, I had a nightmare, Mike. I saw a man with his stomach ripped open, and the same sinister entity from my previous dream was feasting on his organs. The man was pleading for my help, but I was frozen and couldn't move. The entity even tried to attack me before I woke up drenched in sweat."

As I spoke, Mike's eyes bulged with disbelief. "Brian, please don't tell me that the man who died at the girl's hostel this morning is the same man you saw in your nightmare," he exclaimed, fear evident in his voice.

I nodded gravely, my mouth dry as I replied, "Yes, Mike. It was him. The exact same man from my nightmare. Seeing him lifeless on the stretcher at the hostel this morning made me so tense that I ended up blacking out."

Mike furrowed his brow and asked, "I still don't understand why we have to go to the mortuary. You don't seriously think that the entity from your nightmare is real, do you?"

I stood firm in my belief and nodded. "That's precisely why we need to go. I need to see if there are any signs of the entity on the victim's body."

Mike's voice rose in frustration, "Have you completely lost your mind? We already talked about this. The entity is just a figment of your imagination, it's not real. Why are you suddenly convinced that it might actually exist?"

With a hint of uncertainty, I responded, "Initially, I didn't believe that this unknown entity was real. However, after seeing the man from my nightmare dead at the girls' hostel and the fact that Yelan is real, I can't help but wonder if there's a possibility that this entity might be real too. Going to the mortuary is the only way to confirm my suspicions."

Mike exclaimed in disbelief, "This is insane, Brian! We can't just walk into a mortuary and start poking around on a dead body to confirm the existence of some unknown entity. What if someone catches us? We'll be in big trouble!"

I replied firmly, "I understand your concern, Mike. But I don't see any other way to prove to myself that this entity isn't real. And if it does exist, we need to know so we can protect ourselves and others. I don't mind taking the risk of examining the body. And if you don't want to come with me, I'll understand."

Mike shook his head and said, "I still think it's a bad idea, but I won't let you go alone. I've always had your back, and I won't back out now. We'll go together to the mortuary, but we have to be cautious and not do anything that could get us in trouble."

I nodded, feeling grateful for his support. "Thank you, Mike. I appreciate it. But do you happen to know which hospital they took the man to?"

Mike's response was filled with shock. "Hold on, you were talking about going to the mortuary without even knowing where they took him?"

I furrowed my brows and replied, "I didn't catch the name of the hospital on the ambulance, but I assumed they probably took him to the hospital block on our college campus."

"No, I remember seeing the name on the ambulance. It's Enforcer's General Hospital," Mike said.

I was surprised by the name. "Enforcer's General Hospital? I've never heard of it. Do you know where it's located, Mike?"

Mike paused for a moment, his brow furrowed in deep thought. "Well, I'm not entirely sure where it is, but I think it's about four kilometers away from here," he said.

"Great! Then let's not waste any more time. We'll take your bike and head over there right away," I said, eager to get to the hospital as soon as possible.

We quickly made our way to the parking lot, where Mike's motorbike was parked. I climbed on the back, and we sped off towards Enforcer's General Hospital.

As we rode, my mind raced with questions. What if the entity was real? What if it was responsible for the man's death? And, most importantly, could it harm us?
