1 day until Party...
The sun had risen, Ash felt as if he hadn't had any sleep, he was drained
"Morning sleepy head" says Delia
"M-morning..." Says Ash groggily
"Feeling any better?" Asked Delia
"Ehhh, I'm sure I'll calm down later today" reassures Ash
"That reminds me, Professor oak should have dropped off your Pokemon by now, they should be at the front counter" points Delia
"That reminds me, where the other three? Asked Ash
"Oh, they're out in the lobby doing their thing, Serena seemed like she didn't want to get out of bed, eventually she did though" teases Delia
"Welp, guess I'll go retrieve my Pokemon then, actually, I should call Gary to let him know that I'm on my way" says Ash
"Have fun kiddo! Stay safe! And stay with your friends!" Commands Delia, fearing for Ash's safety
"Of course!" Says Ash rushing to get his Pokemon
After Ash had left the room, Delia was scared to the point of sickness, she knew Ash wasn't stressed over the ceremony, so why was he having these panic attacks?
She continued to ponder until she just gave up
"Hey Nurse Joy, did Professor Oak drop off six Pokeballs under the name Ash Ketchum?" Asked Ash
"Why yes, let me go grab them for you" says Joy retreating to the storage
"I see your finally awake" says Clemont behind Ash
"Pika Pi" says Pikachu unimpressed with Ash's sleep-in
"Sorry, I have to admit, I don't feel like I slept at all" explains Ash, worrying the group
"Well at least I now know that I didn't hinder your sleep" giggled Serena whilst blushing a bit
"I can't wait to see your Pokemon!" Exclaims Bonnie happily
"Well, you'll get to see them soon, in the meantime, could you go grab Max from the other room? I have a feeling that he'll want in on this" says Ash chuckling
"Okies!" Salutes Bonnie as she runs off to grab Max, who she had talked with a bit prior to reuniting with Ash
"Sorry for the wait, here's your Pokemon" says Nurse Joy handing Ash the six Pokeballs
"Wait a minute, if Ash currently has six Pokeballs with Pokémon in them, how come he still has Pikachu? Wouldn't that give him seven Pokemon?" Asked Clemont quizzically
"Well you see, Pikachu's Pokeball has always technically been in the lab, since he doesn't like using it, so for all intensive purposes, Pikachu is technically not an active Pokemon officially, I only go to grab it when I enter official tournaments or gym battles" explains Ash
"I guess that makes sense" replies Clemont satisfied
"Ash!" Says two younglings from the side of the room
"I got Max, we're already to go!" Explains Bonnie
"What Pokemon did you get?!?" Asked Max in suspense
"Actually, before you do that, I made some Pokepuffs for them when they come out, so that they can fight with full strength!" Says Serena with a wink
"Well, in that case..." Says Ash reaching for his six Pokeballs
