'Greetings Ash, been a while, when was the last time we spoke? Just before you went to start your journey in Sinnoh? Yeah, that was it, anyways, things are going well here in the lab, almost always has, your Bulbasaur keeps it that way hehe, anyways congrats on becoming world champ! That must have been such a tremendous moment for you! I still remember traveling with you through the orange islands, seeing that crystal onyx, and even the pink Pokemon, I'm glad I have met you and hope to see your future success!

P.S Attached you will find a sketch of you at the podium holding your world champion trophy as a memento from me.'

The night was the worst night of their lives, their friend, son and rival, had officially perished

The tears would go for hours, until they physically couldn't anymore, they began dropping like flies, each falling asleep, although none of them could sleep for long

Very few remained awake, and those that didn't were still whimpering in their sleep

Brock, Misty and Tracey all sat outside on the front porch as Ghota watched out for their safety, hearing their tales of their adventures with Ash, making him wish for his son back, he would give anything for that news

"Team Rocket..." Scowled Ghota as he scrunched his fist and started walking into the night

"You kids stay safe... I have to... Empty my frustration..." Said Ghota as he went I into the woods not far from the Ketchum Residence

The three continued telling their stories to each other, even though they all knew each others stories, they were there for them after all

"Losing my bike that day was probably the best thing that happened that day..." Said Misty as she had ran out of tears to shed, still being comforted by Brock and Tracey

"Although he wasn't blood, he was in all essence, my little brother..." Said Brock as he continued to shed what little tears he was making

"I wish I got to talk with him more, we haven't had a decent conversation since his Hoenn journey..." Sighed Tracey

"I remember his orange island days..." Says Misty

"He won the league there, I was so happy when I heard about it" Said Brock

"We all were, You, Misty, Ivy, Delia and Oak were all proud" said Tracey as he mentioned Ivy's name, but Brock couldn't care less

"Why'd it have to be him" questioned Misty

"I don't know..." Said the two boys as they began to stand

"We're going to get some sleep..." Said Tracey

"The funeral will be tomorrow..." Said Brock

Misty shed one last tear as she got up and walked back inside, being hugged by the little amount of others that were still awake, being Dawn, Serena and Goh

Goh kept quiet, he wanted so badly to blame himself for Ash's death

"I... I need to sleep..." Said Misty as she took place on the ground next to Lana, who was already asleep, albeit not soundly

Brock couldn't sleep, he went upstairs to have another look at the Photo Albums of Ash's adventures

"I'll come with you..." Said Serena as she went upstairs with Brock

"Me too..." Said Dawn joining them

"Tracey... Can I speak with you?" Asked Goh

"Sure..." Says Tracey leading Goh outside
