Ash was looking at his Pokemon, he was grateful to have them with him, hopefully he can introduce them to his old Pokemon when he avenges his fallen family, friend and partner
"Pikachu would have liked you all..." said Ash, as the balls rattled in response
"We'll be landing in an estimated 7.8 minutes, currently looking for a good spot to land in, too much water in this damned region" said the Pilot
"So, you two, since you are still new to our more 'regular' operations, here's the rundown, we find a safe place to set down, we look for the nearest area of interest, and we set up camp, of course that's just setup, during our actual job, we do two things, one, look for food, best to stock up on essentials like ramen cups or fried rice packets, stuff that will keep you relatively filled but cheap to obtain, taste will not be your friend however" said Jessie
"Doesn't sound very efficient" said Gary
"It's called Meal Prep, trust me, it's best to get the hang of it now because when you grow up, you'll need it" said James
"Having access to cheap food isn't exactly flavour town material, but it's soft on the wallet, my suggestion is-" Meowth was cut off
"Okay we get it, but seriously, what is it we need to do?" asked Ash
"You should have learnt from us back when we were enemies" sighed James
"We lure and trap, that's the easiest way, usually this only works on newer trainers, however we do have plans for more experienced ones" said Jessie
"And that is?" asked Gary
"By mechanical force" said Meowth smugly
Both sighed in disbelief
"Hey just because it didn't work on you doesn't mean it doesn't work on them!" yelled James
"Cut the chatter, we're landing" said the Pilot
As the Helicopter landed, they retrieved their belongings and waved the Pilot off, signalling him to leave
"So, any idea where we are?" asked Gary
Ash looked around, seeing a few Pokemon native to the area
"Let's see here" said Ash looking
'Seedot, Lotad, Wurmple, Zigzagoon...' counted Ash
"I think we're on route 102" said Ash
"Any idea where that is?" Asked Meowth
"In-between Petalburg City and Oldale Town last I remember" said Ash
"Brilliant, let's get set up somewhere in the woods, we won't be bothered there" said Gary as the group headed towards the shaded woods
It wouldn't take them long, tent's have been posted up, campfire built, and finally traps have been placed
"Now to figure out what direction Oldale Town is" said Gary looking up in the sky to look at the sun, seeing it slowly drop in front of him
"It's currently 4pm, the suns setting that way, which means Oldale town is somewhere behind us" said Gary
