I died. how? well some crazy guy broke into my apartment and killed me. Now I'm reborn as a copy of the original geno except something is different... why do I have wings and red tear marks?
'Why is everything so dark? I'm sure I closed my eye sockets for a nap so what's this?' I wondered as I looked around with a confused look before shrugging and walking in a random direction. I don't know how long I was walking before I heard a noise, listening closer it sounded like... crying? Moving towards the sound, I notice that the darkness was slowly getting lighter and I could see a figure sitting in the distance.
Moving closer, I freeze when I notice that it's my lovely dove, Exter. 'How is he here? There's no way that's him, right? Why is he crying?' I thought while looking at Exter with worry, wondering why he was crying. "Exter?" I softly ask while reaching out to him only to stop in confusion when I notice an invisible barrier stopping me from getting too close to my lovely dove. Frowning, I call out to Exter again while reaching out only to let out a sound of frustration when I notice that Exter couldn't seem to hear me even though I was an arms distance from him.
Seeing Exter cry, I wanted to oh so badly hold him close and comfort him and ask him why he's sad but knew I couldn't and knowing that made me even more frustrated. "Exter? My dove? Please don't cry." I say while feeling my soul ache from seeing exter cry in misery. "..." Not saying anything, I tear my gaze away from Exter while clenching my fist, tears of frustration appearing nearing my eye sockets just from hearing the one I care about cry without anyone to comfort them.
Letting out a sound of frustration, I try to summon my scythe only to realize I couldn't. Immediately I tried to summon any other attack only to see I couldn't, hell I couldn't even feel my magic. Turning to Exter, I sigh while sitting as close as I could before slowly showing my wings that I don't usually show while my aura growed darker from my death aura growing from my frustration. While staring at Exter, I could still feel some tears of frustration going down. "I'm sorry my lovely dove, Exter. I couldn't comfort you when you needed it the most, dream or not. It hurts seeing you like this." I say sadly while tears streaked down my eye sockets.
Almost as if he heard me, Exter slightly stopped crying and looked up in my direction and smiled shakily as if to comfort me. "Heh, I'm the one who's supposed to comfort you and yet it's you comforting me." I say while my frown wavered slightly, tears still going down. Touching the invisible barrier, Exter stared in my direction and I stared back. And as much as I wanted to touch back I knew I would just be rebounded, plus I knew I wouldn't have the will to move away after being so close to my lovely dove and so I just stared sadly with my eye lights slightly showing, a shadow cast over my face as I stared at Exter who's side seemed to slowly be enveloped in a white aura.

(Reaper POV)
"Reaper?" Exter asks which immediately makes me look at Exter with wide eye sockets. "Exter? Can you hear me?" I ask hopefully and immediately light up when Exter slowly nods. "Kinda. It sounds distant and yet close to me and you seem far away but near for some reason." Exter responds while confusion was clear in their voice. "Reaper? What's going on? I swear I was just taking a nap with crow." Exter asks while staring in my direction. "I don't know what's happening either. I was just walking around in this darkness when I heard crying and spotted you crying your soul out." I respond while watching as Exter flinched slightly while looking away.
"I see...Sorry about that." Exter apologizes while slightly hiding his skull in his scarf. "Nothing to be sorry about, though you almost worried me to 'death' with how much you cried. Also who's this crow guy you were talking about?" I respond while looking at Exter in curiosity about who this crow guy is. "Ah that, He's a new friend of mine!" Exter says happily while smiling slightly, making me feel a little jealous about how just the thought of this crow guy made him smile. Though, I instantly pushed away that jealousy while focusing on Exter who happily spoke a little about this crow guy.
Apparently this crow guy was actually part crow and skeleton which made Exter connect easier with them since my lovely dove was also part bird and skeleton. Makes me feel left out though considering I also have wings, to which I made sure to point out I also had wings to Exter and smiled when his expression turned to surprise and then curiosity as he reached out to touch my wings which in his vision seemed far yet close making Exter huff in annoyance.
Immediately Exter crossed his arms while looking at me with a slight glare, eye sockets still a little puffy from all the crying. "You just had to decide to tell me you have wings now of all times?" Exter asks while staring at me with a slight pout. "Yep." I respond which made Exter sigh in response before he seemed to brighten and snap his fingers in realization while turning to me. "Oh right. Do you know how to chirp reaper?" Exter asks causing me to tilt my skull in thought and curiosity. "Not from what I know. Why?" I ask before freezing when I hear my lovely dove, well...chirp.
Staring at Exter in awe and curiosity, I can see that his face seemed to flush when he realized he just chirped without meaning to. "I didn't know you could chirp my dove." I say with awe in my voice, not noticing how exter's face turned a little red by hearing the nickname I gave him. "W-well I didn't really know either until earlier." Exter responds, fidgeting with his scarf before tilting his skull when he seemed to realize something. "Hey reaps?" Exter asks while staring at me. "Yes?" I question while staring at Exter who seemed to actually be looking exactly at me while standing up. "I can actually see and hear you clearly now." Exter says while staring at me.
"Really?" I ask before letting out a sound of surprise when I suddenly got hugged. Looking down I see that it's Exter which makes me instinctively pull him closer with a relieved look on finally being able to touch someone again, after all it's been a long while for me. "So...when are you planning on coming back for a visit?" I slowly ask while staring at Exter in my arms. "I'll visit after I find error's home." Exter responds with a determined glint in his eye lights. "Oh? Why are ya looking for error?" I ask in curiosity. "To bother him of course." Exter swiftly responds, causing me to chuckle slightly in amusement. A relaxed grin now on my face, I continue to hold Exter close before feeling as if I was waking up.
"Looks like we're waking up from whatever this is." Exter says while still staying in my hold. "Seems so." I respond, feeling a bit sad that we couldn't stay together a little longer. "See you another time then?" I ask hopefully and smile when Exter grins at me reassuringly, "Of course, plus I'm gonna need to spar with someone. My katana skills are getting kinda rusty." Exter responds before both of our view gets blinded by a flash of light.
Opening my eye sockets, I sigh when I notice I'm back in my house before smiling when I remember my talk with my lovely dove who will visit soon. Perhaps I should practice with my scythe, after all exter using his katanas is scary. How I know this? Well, I happened to experience it first hand when I annoyed exter past his limit and got chased around life's garden with life recording us. When Exter saw life recording both of us, I remember seeing him flush in embarrassment before chasing after life who laughed in amusement.
Smiling at the memory, I shake it away before stretching and taking out my scythe. 'Reaping souls first, training can come after.' I thought while slashing a portal open, entering through with a happy hum, the portal instantly closes behind me. ________________________________________

Exter doesn't want to admit it but he likes to spar with reaper since reaper always does something to make him laugh even when going against each other.
Reaper is happy he got to see his lovely dove.
