Been a few days now
Still got this emptiness somehow
"You never really get over your first love" They say
But I'm getting over you
Slowly realizing you're just another human
Not someone whom I would die for
But the real pains kicks in when I sleep
Why is it always you with your goddamn lips?
Please let me live in peace
Your words don't mean anything to me
No matter how much I try
When I sleep, I see you by my side
The songs that reminded me of you
Are the ones I skip to stop this gloom
Still waiting to see your name
Whenever I'm on my phone writing
Honestly afraid of sleeping now
Because I know the hoax
Probably never gonna see you again
But it still kills my soul.
