Been a few weeks
Still texting you occasionally
Even if it breaks my heart
Dying to hear your voice
Want to Call you so desperately
But I know you got a lot of shit going on recently
Maybe I'll wait some time more
To hear your voice and see your face
Fell out of love at that moment
But the friendship is still going
I just want you to be happy
And do whatever brings you joy
Starting a new life in a different city
Everything has changed except me
It doesn't hurt anymore
I still see your face forevermore
Around people, I'm usually happy
All because of what you taught me
Because of you, I'm a better person
And I don't think I can thank you enough
Sometimes I get hit by anxiety
When the thought of you comes by
But it would have been fun
If you would have been the one.
