Year 2020

Mina Sharon, a hopeless romantic individual, yet a woman who is skeptical of love.

It has been 2 years since her last romantic relationship with someone, but it didn't end badly like most would expect. They just mutually agreed that they should try dating other people.

Finding a new lover is not on top of Mina's list until there came a time when all her friends found their own significant other.

The weekend came, and Mina wanted to hang out with her friends since they hadn't seen each other for months.

So she decided to call the one by one.

"Hello, Sana?"

"Mina-ya, I miss you! What's up?"

"Nothing much, I just want to invite you and the girls out for fun, wanna come?"

"Oh sorry Mina-ya I can't. I have a date with Tzuyu today. She just got back from her business trip."

"Is that so? O-ok then maybe next time, see you!!"

Mina sighed in defeat and went to call another one.

"Momo-chan wanna go out? Oh, you're meeting Dahyun's family, it's ok. Next time then."

Another...

"Jihyo-ah wanna meet up? Oh yeah, I forgot you're busy with the wedding, congrats again and I'll see you!!"

And another...

"Nayeon unnie! Wanna go shopping? Jeongyeon unnie is not feeling well? It's ok. I understand girlfriend duties, and I hope she gets well soon."

Mina ended the call and threw her phone on the bed with a sigh.

She raked her hair in frustration. She wasn't like this before when her all her friends aren't in a relationship yet.

This gave her a sign. Now that all of them have their own partner, Mina felt...loney.

For the first time, she felt lonely for being single. She never felt this when she still had plenty of time hanging out with her friends before.

Oh she wished to find a new lover soon, that could hold her, cherish her, and not just with any person but one that she wanted to last long with, settle with even. She just knew how badly she wanted to love again.

Now she's crying in her room, she knows she doesn't have any chances with anyone for now as she haven't met or develop some sort of closeness with anyone new recently since she was busy with her work as a doctor.

So she spent her whole weekend watching romantic movies and dramas, then crying at some of them, imagining herself being the girl in those shows.

She then started going out to blind dates like once a week. So far, it didn't work ot for her, or she didn't like them despite all of them wanting to meet her again.

She met different good-looking individuals with good personalities along with them, yet she didn't feel any spark.

It felt like she hadn't met the right one, and that 'someone' felt like they're impossible to find or didn't exist.

Mina was starting to lose hope until she came across another movie... specifically, one that involved Cupid.

It showed in the movie how a girl wrote her wish for finding her significant other and placing it in a heart box, then kept filling it up until Cupid granted her romantic wish.
