"Hey Son!" As soon as Chaeyoung looked to where the voice called him, the books he was holding were knocked over, and he fell on the ground.

It was Myoui Mina, queen bee of the school, but to Chaeyoung, she's just a bully.

He may be the guy between them, but he couldn't do anything. He wouldn't fight back. Why? Because Myoui Mina is the heiress of the school, it was filled with students from rich and noble families, but he was just a scholar who rides a bike to school while the rest arrives in a Rolls-Royce, Porche, or sports cars.

Mina laughs like a witch along with her friends, who are no different than being her minions.

Chaeyoung doesn't say anything and just picks up his books. Mina snickers, "You're so pathetic." she hissed and went away with her friends.

Dahyun, Chaeyoung's only friend, goes to help him. "Dude, you ok?" Chaeyoung nods.

They got up, and Chaeyoung thanked him, "Of course dude, that's what bro's are for." Dahyun said and smiled as they walked down the hallway towards their first class.

Even Chaeyoung thinks he doesn't deserve a friend like Dahyun because he was way out of his league. Dahyun's parents are on a restaurant food chain worldwide, while Chaeyoung only has his mom working at a diner because his dad passed away.

Luckily, Chaeyoung wasn't in the same class as Mina even though they're in the same year. They don't have any mutual classes to attend, and that's why Chaeyoung only wishes for classes to last long because he doesn't want to go out again and experience hell when he comes across Mina.

"I just don't get why she has to do that to you. You didn't even do anything to her." Dahyun mentions before they reach their classroom.

"D-don't mind it." Chaeyoung utters, and Dahyun just sighs.

Being top of the class couldn't help Chaeyoung at all when he doesn't have the money and power, that's why he let's Mina do whatever she wants.

Finally, Chaeyoung managed to get through the day by avoiding Mina naturally, and it seemed that everything was going his way.

He was exiting the school when his best friend Somi was waiting outside. "S-Somi? What are you doing here??"

"I came to see my genius scholar friend of course! Woah, your school is really big even just from the walls outside, is it really fancy inside? I saw a lot of expensive cars go in! Those are all owned by students? Are they cool?" She bombarded him so many questions already.

"Well I guess cool isn't really the word-"

"Gosh I'm envy you! I wanna go to school here too!" she whined and pouted like a kid.

Chaeyoung chuckles, "Trust me you don't want to, and besides, your grades aren't good enough to get you in for a scholarship either."

"Don't even mention it! I wish I was born rich in my next life to get into a school like this."

Suddenly a limo pulls over beside them, the driver went out and opened the door for no other than Myoui Mina.

She was walking slowly yet flawlessly with her Birkin bag hanging on her shoulder. She gives a glance towards the two and she suddenly smiles, but Chaeyoung knows it was a fake one.

Somi's jaw dropped seeing an expensive gorgeous girl like Mina, "Who are-?"

"Myoui Mina." Mina introduces herself and offers a handshake. Somi accepts,and smiles brightly, deep inside she was bursting in happiness as if she met a celebrity because she rarely interacts with rich people.
