" Main kisi ko dukhi na karta theek hai na " He spoke sitting beside Shehnaaz and took the phone out of her hand and she stood up to keep the plate in the sink and get him a glass of hot boiled water, 4 days and she got to know that he has a habit of drinking a glass of hot water after he wakes up every morning
Maa used to do all this for him and Hence she never knew but he gets cranky if his routine is distrubed she figured out.
" Le " Shehnaaz spoke forwarding him his glass and he gave her his morning smile that soothed her heart.
" Shehnaaz ko kaam par laga diya tune " Maa asked laughing and he smiled
" Ab kya karein aap toh ho nhi " He smirked
" Kutta " Shehnaaz spoke smacking him on his head and he glared her
" Bachi ko ghur mat " Maa spoke and he sighed
" Acha batao Massi kaisi hai? " He asked instead and then kept on asking about each and everyone in the extended family with a smile , she smiled seeing him such, so grounded, so homely
" Vapis kab tak aaoge " He asked and gulped down the rest of the water
" Saturday tak shayad, dekhti hoon " Maa answered and he nodded
" Chalo Maa Bye " Shehnaaz spoke looking at the time, 8:30 am, it would approximately take her 25 minutes from their to reach MH
" Time ho gaya kya, Ek ghanta hogaya mujhe call kiye hue, Chalo main bhi chalti hoon, Sidharth bachi akeli thodi jaayegi, jaa chod kar aa " Maa ordered and he nodded
" Bye, Dhyaan rakho " He spoke and hung up only to see Shehnaaz scrolling through her phone aimlessly
" Moti abhi toh jaldi thi be tujhko " Sidharth spoke getting up and picking up the keys from the holder
