I've moved to the neighborhood about two months ago and it's very nice here. I have lots of friends and when I wake up I'm always greeted with bright colors. It makes me happy and the peoples attitudes towards me do too everyone is so kind here it makes my heart melt. I opened my door and made my way down to Howdy's store to get groceries. I noticed bizarre behavior from poppy she had a scared expression on her face it made me nervous as I walked towards the store. There stood Julie and Howdy whispering and quickly straightened up and looked at with shaky expressions as if I had a gun pointed at them..?
"Guys is everything okay?" I asked worried at the crazy behavior I mean Julie was one of the sweetest people in town so why would she be so out of character? Same with Howdy "hello?" I asked again they clearly were contemplating talking to me. "We can't talk to you.." She whispered with a nervous expression she was.. scared. I bought my groceries and left I started to get scared myself at this behavior I eventually got home a dropped off my groceries and climbed into bed hoping whatever had everyone worked up would fade away.
I sat up my hair a mess and decided to leave to go on a stroll I opened my door and looked around the colors weren't as vibrant as they were.? Maybe it's my eyes or something I shook it off or at least tried to I noticed everyone was in a group it looked as if Wally was telling them something he seemed upset or aggressive about it. But his attitude changed when I approached the group everyone with wide eyes looked at me... or stared at me their eyes burning holes through me. I got shivers but the only person who remained normal was Wally his expression was the same he has a smile and his eyes were half lidded. He gave me a gentle smile "hello y/n.. we were just talking!" He smiled i scanned the crowd and noticed Julie wasn't there it made me concerned "hey Wally where's Julie..?" I asked
He let out a low hum "I don't know." He tapped his chin his eyes grew darker "she's just sleeping right now she's not feeling well." He said his voice husky. "We all should visit her!" I smiled everyone stayed quiet still watching us "no she doesn't want anyone to visit her." He spoke staring at me. I felt nervous "what wh-" I got cut off "no need for questions honey." He smiled he turned to the group and gave them a signal to leave and the did leaving us alone. "What's up with their behavior today?" I asked Wally looked over at me "I don't know it's odd isn't it." He spoke slowly "good thing Im actually acting normal!" He smiled "yea! I don't feel so lonely now" I smiled he returned one back. "Hey I have to be going but are you free later?" He asked I jumped was he asking ME out? I felt my face heat up "oh.. yea!" I smiled he nodded "Maybe we could hang out later?" He asked I nodded trying not to make it obvious I was excited
We went our separate was and I made my way to Julie's house I found it odd and after knocking for minutes I shook the handle to notice it wasn't even locked? I raised an eyebrow and entered the house, my steps creaking as I walked it was a mess her living room was torn up and broken glass was everywhere it seemed as if she got attacked.? Until I entered her bedroom blood was everywhere and the outline of a body was visible under her stained pink blankets I stood there I slightly inched towards the body but couldn't bring myself to actually pull the sheets off her. My eyes were wide and I felt hands on my hips and pull me back into whoever was behind me their breath hitting my neck.
"I did it for you.." it was Wally his voice was raspy and slithered through my ears I stood like a deer in front of head lights. His hands trailed up my body and to my shoulder and he forcefully turned me around to face him he held my face with his hands. His eyes were still half open and he had the same smile on his face he looked calm!? "I can feel you shaking.." he said pulling me closer into a hug "It all was for you... because I love you." He spoke slowly "why..?" My voice cracking "I told you already silly!" He smiled looking at me "let's just say it's red paint just think of it like that.." he purred. I couldn't believe what was happening my mind was blown away by this he kissed me for a moment and looked at me his expression was scary it was cold and dark.
