[Date: 5 weeks before Aiden's disappearance.]
Aiden's POV
I had just come home from Punk's concert. Punk had come out as gay to the entire audience, and everyone supported him! I wish I had that courage... But nonetheless, we're both still friends! I came back to the apartment, and my dad had heard about the concert. He supports Punk, which, I actually wouldn't expect he'd do! Other than that, he behaved in his normal "All work no play" way. It makes me feel... Unloved. But he wouldn't be as successful as he is if he put me first, so, can I blame him?
I went to my bedroom, earlier than usual. Apparently my dad is having some weird guy come over. He says it's for some computer business, but when I saw him through the keyhole, he looked a bit like a... Cultist.
All seemed normal at first, you know, he was checking for any viruses or whatnot. Apparently the guy has his own custom made computer designs. I overheard him say that he tinkers on the weekends. I think it's pretty impressive.
It was when it reached 9:45 when things got a little... Heated... I can't remember much, but the argument between my dad and that guy got... Personal. The two main sentences I heard were:
"PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR BLOODY SON, DOCKTOR!"
"I DON'T HAVE THE F**KING TIME!"
...It hurt me... A lot... It reminded me that my dad was going on a business trip tomorrow... For 7 weeks... I'll miss him... A lot. I overheard the last two sentences.
"I promise... I'll make you wish you spent more time with Aiden, you poor excuse of a father..."
"Oh shut up. You know how I am, Duncan. Business first."
