"mama ion wanna go." unique complained. today was easter which means unique had to go to church with her mother and grandmother.
"chile me either. yo grandma making my ass go too, ouu chile i need a blunt." nina rolled her eyes walking back into the kitchen.
unique sighed flopping down on the clinch and getting on tiktok. watching the third tiktok, unique was interrupted by her cousin tj calling her.
"what terence." unique said once the facetime connect. "stop being fuckin fed bih." unique smacked her teeth, rubbing her eye.
"aye doe, what y'all doin after church?" tj asked smoking a blunt. "we goin to auntie house she cookin sunday dinner." unique told him fixing her ring.
"mann auntie ahh live too far." tj cimplained. unique chuckled. "you just lazy." tj waved her off.
"imma be ova da." unique nodded. "you gon fix me a plate doe?" tj asked. "mannn, why you just can't fix it when you get here tj?" tj was always known for coming to family functions late asking for a plate he expected someone else have fixed already and also with a group of boys.
of course the family knew the boys since they all knew each other since they were kids. unique and tj's great grandma practically raised them.
"please?" tj pouted. unique rolled her eyes. "aight g." before tj could say anything else she hung up on him throwing her phone on the couch.
she walked into the kitchen where she saw her mother rolling a blunt. " ma can we go and get mc'donalds before we pick up granny?" unique asked her mother. "yeah i want me a mcgriddle after this blunt hunny." unique chuckled.
"smoking before church is crazy." she shook her head. "he said come as you are." nina shrugged.
"come on let's hot box yo papa old car." nina told her daughter. "girl no, we gon go to church smellin like straight rabbit grass." nina smacked her teeth.
"fuckin buzz kill." nina mumbled walking into the guest bathroom. unique shook her head.
at church.
"okay miss pearl, thank you." unique hugged the old lady taking the strawberry shortcake pops and walking to her mother's car.
as soon as unique got inside the car nina sped off. "dang mama, you trynna kill me or sum?" unique widened her eyes.
"stop being so dang dramatic." nina waved her daughter off. "she probably still high hunny." diane, unique's grandmother stated from the front seat.
