I was the miracle child.
I was supposed to be the next heir of the Vox family.
Why?
Why must you leave me in the dark and chase her?
Why must you chase her.?
Kurai wailed and screamed as I kicked her stomach.
"STUPID! WORTHLESS! BEING!" I screamed out.
"Older sister.. Please... spare...."
"SHUT UP!" I screeched, "SHUT UP AND DIE!-"
"What the hell are you doing sister?!" Kage ran towards me and pushed me to the ground.
Why must you chase her..
"SHE'S USELESS! A MISTAKE! I AM THE ONLY WORTHY TO BE THE HEIR-"
"VOX KLAREN." A familiar voice yelled from behind me.
I turned my head to see father with petrified eyes.
"What are you doing to your sister."
I gritted my teeth, "She's NOT my sister! SHE'S A MISTAK-"
"If I see this behavior again.. I will personally pass on the family's heir to Kage or Kurai."
I paused. It's like space and time has stopped. Heir? Kurai? Pass on?
This is unacceptable.

Kurai softly sobbed as I grabbed her throat and made her look in my eyes, "You know what will happen if you tell, yes?"
"Yes, older sister..." Kurai mumbled quietly.
I tossed her to the ground and walked over to the door.
I turned back to see her pitiful, limp body on the ground.
I then opened the door to see Kage, Father, and Mother standing right infront of the door.
"I-I.." I stuttered, quickly shutting the door behind me.
"You disappoint me, Klaren." Mother nimbly replied as Kage pushed me away then opened the door.
Kage and Mother rushed to tend to Kurai's wounds and father looked at me with a strange emotion in his eyes.
"Come with me, Klaren."
"Yes, father.."
We walked to father's office, not exchanging a single word.
When we arrived I sat across the table from my dad and waited for him to start.
"Kalren.."
"Yes, father."
"You.." He hissed, then tears fell out of his eyes.
Then I realized what that emotion was..
Pain.
He felt pain for Kurai, and pain for my existence.
He felt pain for himself that he couldn't raise us right.
But at that moment, I couldn't think of anything. All I could think of was,
Why must you chase her.

And there, I decided.
If you see me as a monster..
I shall be that monster that you see.
I will lurk in the shadows, spreading lies.

I. Will. Be. Your. Lies.
I will make your life worse than hell, as long as I am alive.
